I enjoy this chess board! It's a traditional shade and the has magnetic items. The bottom of pieces have cloth so there is no scratches on the board. It comes with a towel bag for the pieces to be held when not in use and there is a page for guidelines.

I love chess and I've been trying to improve just recently - I live in a dormitory so I really did not wish to bring a proper board from home and have no place to set it up. Trying to find tiny boards I found this! It's still a good dimension, like I'm not battling to get the pieces, which is great - features a drawstring bag for the pieces and folds up safely. And the magnets are wonderful! Perfect to simply unravel, being in bed, and practice. Love it!

I got this chessboard to play against some friends and it is fantastic. I am an university student, and enjoy how mobile it is which it is magnetic. I would certainly suggest getting a magnetic board if you aren't too worried with aesthetic. Mine came with a broken corner on the board, yet it didn't affect the functionality.
