About the Author

Ammi-Joan Paquette has never actually gotten stuck in the mud, but she is a great fan of all kinds of messy adventures. She is the author of many books for young readers, including GHOST IN THE HOUSE, BUNNY BUS, THE TIPTOE GUIDE TO TRACKING FAIRIES, and THE TRAIN OF LOST THINGS. Joan lives at the top of a steep hill outside of Boston with her family and several rooms full of books.

Elisa Ferro is a children's illustrator from the beautiful Padua, Italy, where she lives with her husband and two funny cats. She spends most of her time drawing, but she also enjoys cooking and gardening.
