I bought the Mule XL (with lights) to help cool my 2-car garage, which I use as a woodshop. The fan is indeed powerful and can move the aur but I found it to not be able to cool the garage as I had hoped. Even after hours of running the garage temperature had not decreased. I don't know if it would help, but I realy wish this unit had an oscillating mechanism as the rush of air is always blowing in one place. Also, the fan;s attachment points (screw holes) seeme a bit questionble to me. I was hoping for a "beefier" attachment mechanism, given the fan is haning from a single rafter. That being said, I have had no issues with the fan's attachment so far. The fan is stable and does not feel wobbly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan has been a life saver, we recently had a party from my son and it was raining and humid unfortunately I did not get the chance to hang it but it still did the job to keep the garage cool. It can be a bit noisy it has three levels and levels two and three are loud but it’s a fan for the garage so no complaints, It get the job done! The lights I didn’t much need them as we have pretty good lighting in the garage but they are very bright and work well. I would definitely recommend this product.

The most difficult part was locating the stud to mount it. I would recommend the following tools: stud finder, screwdriver and a drill. Ample lighting is also recommended to see exactly where to mount it. There are three fan settings and it blows the air with great force and cools nicely. The LED lamps shine brightly and powerfully. The light setting is adjustable to your desired brightness. I would highly recommend this fan; it will come in so handy during the brutal summer months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed the Mule XL Ceiling Mounted Fan with Lights in our garage. There is a dark spot on one side of the garage that worked perfectly since this has work lights attached. Installation took around 15 minutes. It does need to be plugged in, so luckily, we have an outlet on the ceiling beside our garage door opener. We still need to pin the cord along the ceiling, but we were amazed at how quick and easy installation was. It comes with either a 6-inch extension for shorter/average ceiling heights or a 12-inch extension for higher ceilings. The fan can rotate 360 degrees, so we can point it in any direction of our garage that we wish. It is a very powerful, high velocity fan. I find the airflow to be great on it and the noise level that you would expect from a high velocity fan. The work lights put out the perfect amount of light if you are working underneath the fan. There is a knob to adjust the brightness along with the fan speed settings, which can be set to low, medium, or high. So far, we are really happy with the addition to our garage and recommend it to anyone looking for some extra light or airflow in a large space.

Wow! Just wow! I didn't know how crappy my garage fan really was until I got the Mule garage fan hung and running. For starters - it is more powerful on medium setting than my old fan was on high. Second, it is a TON quieter than my old fan was. I can actually have a conversation in my shop with the fan running now! Quick and easy assembly and the cord was even long enough to reach the outlet near where I mounted it. AND....I haven't even mentioned the lights yet! Game Changer! I know I will be using the lights every time I'm in the shop.
