Ingredients:

a sterile, isotonic solution that contains hydroxyalkylphosphonate, boric acid, edetate disodium, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer with ethylene diamine, sodium borate and sodium chloride; preserved with polyaminopropyl biguanide 0.0001%.

  • A: Yes, I put a drop or two in my contacts, just before putting them in my eyes, and it works just as if you put plain saline solution in the contact. I remember the days of plain saline and those little bottles of cleaner.

  • A: Hi Smilingeyes. Place clean contact lenses in a lens case and fill with fresh Up & Up Clear Comfort Multi Purpose Solution. Soak at least 4 hours (can also soak overnight). Always use fresh solution and discard all solution from the lens case after each use.

BURNS.

This stuff BURNS. Like everyone mentioned, I thought I was going crazy. It got bad enough that I desperately bought a trial size of a different contact solution because I genuinely thought I just was going to have to give up wearing contacts. I didn't even think it could be the solution. After my contacts soaked in that new solution for 6 hours, I got them in with no trouble and my eyes never burned again. I threw this stuff away and never bought it again. Buyer beware. This stuff is like pouring rubbing alcohol or shampoo directly on your lenses.

Missing safety seal

Do not buy!

Started using this solution and it instantly caused problems within the first hour of wearing my contacts. Both eyes started itching and within minutes were swollen shut. I haven’t been able to wear my contacts for 4 days now due to the swelling and redness this solution caused. After reading reviews I see I’m not the only one with this problem. This stuff needs to be taken off the shelves immediately.
