The Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder allows your little one to enjoy delicious finger foods without giving you cause for concern. With its simple mesh design, this handy teething feeder allows for babies to gnaw on foods safely. Simply place a piece of fruit, vegetable or even meat into the mesh bag and snap it shut. Baby can chew, suck and taste the whole food goodness, with only small, digestible pieces coming through - reducing the risk of choking. It's also a smart alternative to a teething toy. The Fresh Food Feeder features a colorful, easy-grip handle for your little one to hold - making this a first step toward feeding independence.

Q: how do you clean the mesh bag?? I put bananas in it and couldn't get it clean.
submitted by debbie8001 - 4 years ago
A: Hello, The Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder is first and foremost top rack dishwasher safe. As well, if you find that you are getting food stuck in the net the best way to remove it is with a soft bristled tooth brush. You can also soak the net in warm soapy water with a table spoon of vinegar to help dissolve and remove the pieces of food left/build up in the net.

These worked great for my teething 6 month old. They’re good for holding ice, frozen fruit, etc. Once they get dirty if you don’t clean them out immediately you have to throw it out. The mesh stains easily as well and it can get very messy. Worked great for frozen items!

This was hard to clean and the fabric mesh molded if I didn’t wash it immediately. It felt like a waste getting these since they were unsanitary to use.

This concept is not new and I was initially excited to find one at Target and under a known brand. However this thing is impossible to clean, not worth it.

Good concept but I like the silicone type better. I will say with these it’s easier for my 7mo old niece to get to the food but it’s a total mess. Also the ring handle design is harder for her to use right now but she does like chewing on it

These are great! A wonderful way to introduce new foods to my baby. Just make sure you wash immediately after use as it can be hard to get all the food out of the mesh feeder.

I have tried the a few different types but find that baby likes the mesh better. I like to put frozen fruit in it to help with teething. Cleaning them seems to be difficult without a dishwasher ( we dont have one) but that’s just me being paranoid of things not being clean enough.

Nice way for little one to try foods without having to worry about them choking. Good for teething as well. I didn’t think it was that difficult to clean. I was able to get the food out by warm running water and by scrubbing by hand. Didn’t have issues with food getting stuck or a hard time cleaning it. I would recommend the product.
