The closure constantly opens and the pail doesn’t lock in. Doesn’t contain the smell and used to have another diaper pail but ended up trying this one because of the new technology but should’ve hmjsut stuck with my old one. This is simply Overpriced for lower quality and there’s no instruction video on how to set it up.

We received this as a baby gift from a friend. It works really well and no smells so far. We’ve been using it now for 3 weeks and it definitely fills up quickly with a newborn, so we’re changing the bag every 3 days. The foot pedal makes it easy when your hands are full, it’s easy to push the diaper down into the hole, and changing the bags is a breeze. We’ve tried both types of refills, the ring of continuous bag and the snap and toss, but I’d definitely say the snap bag is the easiest to work with. I’m not sure how effective the UV feature is, but it makes me feel better.

It's not worth the cost. The door won't stay shut, which lets odor out. This pail seems to have more odor than the diaper genie it replaced.

This is my favorite baby purchase thus far! I have dealt with all other diaper pails in my nanny/childcare career and when having my own baby I wanted something better. I searched and found this one, and decided to splurge. It is definitely pricey, but it is so worth the pretty penny. I just changed out the first bag of dirty diapers (which was such an easy process) and there was no smell whatsoever. I am beyond impressed.

I LOVE this diaper pail. It keeps the smell in and I think it’s easy to use. I had the Ubbi for the last 2.5 years.. I was so excited to get rid of that thing. Yes it requires special bags but it’s worth it for how clean and not smelly this pail is.

Haven’t smelled anything! Holds a decent amount and doesn’t leave the room having an odor. We bag dirty diapers before putting them in here just a precaution. We do have it in carpet and when you try and step to open it, you do have to be careful so it doesn’t try and tip.

We previously had the other munchkin pail that wasn’t UV that we liked but too much of the smell would escape and fill our house and both kinds of bags were difficult to remove from the pail. So far we have noticed no smell around the house, very little smell escapes when we put a diaper in, the closure of the cover is easier, and we love using the ring packaged bags because this pail has a cutter built in making it easy to remove. So far very happy with this one!

We’ve used this diaper pale for the past three months and wow… one of our best baby purchases BY FAR. I searched so long for a diaper pale that would last and I couldn’t find any that didn’t have negative reviews about smelling or getting gross mildew and stuff all over it over time. This pale is obviously pricey but it is so worth it! We haven’t smelled a thing, nor has it gotten gross on the inside. We also found that the target brand diaper pale refills work perfectly with this pale so you don’t have to buy the expensive munchkin ones! Again it’s definitely pricey, but 1000% worth it.

Unfortunately had to return the device. There were a few things wrong with the design that made it hard to warrant the price even though we were so excited to use it. 1. Can not be used on rugs at all. The balance of the can does not work when trying to step on the pedal. 2. To put a diaper in you have to force it through the bag. Really gross when you are trying to get rid of a really dirty diaper. 3. Every time you open and close it was twisting the bag further closed. After 4 open and closes the bag really could not even be opened. The UV aspect was really cool and what we were super excited about. But with some core functionality issues we had to return it.

We love this diaper pail! I was a bit skeptical if it would work but actually does keep the smell in. So much better than the basic diaper genie we had for our firstborn. The only time I do smell it is if there are a few pop diapers already in there and I put in another diaper. The smell does come out a bit when the mouth of the diaper bag opens. But I keep a small air freshener on the changing table and it’s fine. And the other downside is the price. But I waited for a sale and it was a bit better.
