Q: How large is the actual opening? I am thinking to use this for cat litter disposal, and wonder what size scoop would be able to push open the flap to dump clumps into bag.

  • A: The opening is about 6.9". Please note that there is a hub, designed to block odors once you open the lid.     Diaper Genie Classic

    The Diaper Genie Classic is a decent diaper pail if you just want something simple that keeps the smell down. It’s easy to use, doesn’t take up a lot of space, and does a better job than a regular trash can. The downside is that it needs special refill bags, and you have to empty it pretty often or the odor control isn’t as strong. Overall, it works fine for everyday use and gets the job done without costing too much.
