Q: How large is the actual opening? I am thinking to use this for cat litter disposal, and wonder what size scoop would be able to push open the flap to dump clumps into bag.

  • A: The opening is about 6.9". Please note that there is a hub, designed to block odors once you open the lid.     Diaper genie in my family has history

    I’m just opening the box so I don’t have a feedback yet however we have used diaper genie for a long time. This is like a grandbaby so we’ve used them for over 20 years and the product has caused me to return and purchase another genie diaper genie.
