Q: What’s the difference between the diaper genie select and the diaper genie platinum?

  • A: Diaper Genie Platinum is truly "no hands". Foot pedal opens both lid & door that conseals the bottom part of the bag. Select foot pedal opens lid only. Diaper must be pushed through door.

  • A: Both Diaper Genie Select and Platinum pails are made out of stainless steel. Diaper Genie Select is a shorter in height versus the Platinum. It works with square refills, and does not contain carbon filters. Diaper Genie Platinum, is higher and works with the EasyRoll refill system (easy tear off bags) and includes a carbon filter.

Q: Can I use this platinum duty diper pail for Ostomy Bags that are liquid. I tried the plastic jenie so it busted? I had to many bags in it Put will this one work with less weight What is the weight?

Q: Does the Diaper Genie Platinum seal each diaper in a separate bag?

  • A: The Diaper Genie Platinum does not seal each diaper individually. It uses easy roll bags, which are easy tear off multi-layer bags. Once the bag is full with diapers, you can empty the bag out by making a knot at the top and tearing off the bottom to start a new one.

    Looks big, but fills very fast

    Installation needs bit time to spend. Can looks big but fills in 1 or 2 days max for newborn. Bags are very expensive too. Not so good for company trying to squeeze money from all the new parents.

    Absolutely worth every penny! The Diaper Genie Platinum Pail has honestly been one of the best baby purchases we've made. I was skeptical that a diaper pail could make that much of a difference, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The odor control is incredible—even with dirty diapers, the nursery stays smelling fresh. The hands-free foot pedal is so convenient when you're holding your baby, and the soft-close lid is quiet enough that it won't wake a sleeping little one. I also love the sleek stainless steel design; it looks modern and doesn't stick out like a typical diaper bin. It also holds a surprising number of diapers before needing to be emptied.

    don't recommend, foot pedal broke

    foot pedal broke after 7 months. the pedal would constantly fall out when pressed. and now the plastic that hold the foot pedal broke, so it no longer opens when stepping on it. over priced trash can. it's good interms of odor suppression. but that foot pedal gave us issues since day 1.
