Q: Does the warmer work good with waterwipes brand wipes?

A: Can I put WaterWipes in a wipe warmer/wipe dispenser? No. We do not recommend that WaterWipes are removed from their pack and transferred to any another container, nor should the pack be over-warmed. They are a fresh product and should be stored in a cool dry place. We recommend WaterWipes are used within 4 weeks of opening. (Listed on website for waterwipes)

Decided to give this a chance despite some bad reviews and am happy I did. Does a good job of warming up wipes although it can be a bit difficult to load up and pull out the wipes but it can certainly be done. Overall happy with the purchase and will say it beat expectations set by other reviews.

It keeps the wipes warm. They do get cold after taking them out of the dispenser, but I guess that’s to be expected? I hate the “night light” on it. I guess it was okay for middle of the night changes when my baby was a newborn, but we have to unplug it at night now. It lights up the whole room. It’s also hard to open to refill. Overall, I could do without it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I care about.

Are you an overwhelmed parent about to lose it? looking for that one little thing to push you over the edge? Look no further, this is just the thing. Where do I start? The rubber/silicone aperture that's supposed to hold the wipes is too loose to hold wipes. Every 3rd wipe or so falls down, and if dad doesn't have long, spiny Jafar fingers, he won't be able to dig out the next one without opening the whole thing, which bring me to my next gripe. The wipe warmer is impossible to open with one hand, and it's hard to open with two. Maybe there's a trick to it that both of us are too sleep-deprived to figure out, but we haven't found it yet. Also, once you get the darned main lid (not the little flap) open, it won't stay open because the hinge doesn't let it swing back far enough, so while you're trying to feed the next wipe, or refill the thing with your one clean hand, it slams shut. As if the mess and the crying wasn't hard enough, this awful, floppy, unreliable box of misery has been the single highest source of frustration on about 60% of our diaper changes. I don't know what's kept me from putting my fist through it or throwing it across the room. It's probably because we didn't have a replacement. Now that we have a competing wipe warmer, this useless piece will be taken out back and office spaced into oblivion before being swept up and sprinkled into to the recycling bin. The ugly blueish light doesn't even turn off. Munchkin, you can do better. Don't let garbage like this past your design review. This is probably the worst consumer product I have ever come across.

The reviews on here almost detoured us from purchasing this wipe warmer but I’m glad we still gave it a shot! The box is very difficult to open as others have mentioned, but only the first several times it’s opened. It gets easier/loosened up as it’s been used. The trick I found to get best leverage initially was to flip it upside down and pop the lid open. The light is always on which some don’t like, but it does make for a great little night light in the nursery. It’s not bright enough you could see anything detailed or even change a diaper in my opinion, which is perfectly fine for us. The wipes are heated to the perfect temperature, and for a baby who completely hated getting diaper changes with cold wipes this was an absolute game changer and the best purchase! I was worried if baby got used to warm wipes at home, wipes on the go would be a huge issue and that somehow wasn’t the case either. So glad we bought this and the peace that came with it!

Waste of money. Wish I never purchased this item. My baby hates cold wipes so diaper changes are very difficult. So I got this for her to help with diaper changes. Put the wipes in. Literally dried out all my wipes. The wipes didn’t stay warm. But I put three packs in to fill it up so she would have plenty of wipes that were warm. Three packs of wipes wasted because every single wipe was dry. Not even wet. And the ones that still had the tiniest bit of moisture were cold.

I like the idea behind a wild warmer. However, the wipes dry out. No baby enjoys dry wipes on their irritated bottom. The wipe warmer feels like you’re breaking it just to get it open to refill. I find myself reaching for a package of wipes rather than ones in the warmer.

Would not buy or recommend. The light doesn’t turn off, dim or anything. Which is very annoying at night. The lid doesn’t stay stay locked/shut for single pull wipes. The compartment lid takes two hands to pry open when you need to refill. Probably typical of wiper warmers but you have about 4 seconds to use the wipe before it’s cold. Would not buy this again or gift to anyone.

Definitely gets the job done - the wipes are warm. Like others have stated, I too think the light should be able to be shut off as it’s not necessary for everyone’s use. Also, the wipes do tend to slip back into the warmer, causing you to have to dig inside to get it. I’ve had an older model of the munchkin warmer about 8 years ago, and it’s about the same quality. The light then also didn’t shut off, but it was a lot dimmer so I didn’t mind. Been using it almost a month so cannot comment on longevity.

This thing stinks. Literally. My house has been smelling for months! I’ve been going crazy trying to find the source of the smell. Went on a trip recently and took the warmer…..noticed the smell was gone when I returned….but quickly came back. Unplugged the wipes warmer tonight and realized that’s the source! It smells like mildew, just awful. So grateful I finally figured it out. So frustrating that I’ve been using the wipes on my daughter all this time not knowing what was going on with it.
