THE SEVENTH SEASON OF MURDER SHE WROTE WHICH I BELIEVE WAS THE 1990- 1991 SEASON I THINK WAS SUPPOSE TO BE THE LAST SEASON ORIGINALLY THEN THEY DECIDED TO COME BACK FOR TWO MORE SEASONS. THE REASON I THINK THIS IS BECAUSE ON THE FINAL EPISODE OF DISC FOUR THE SHOW TITLED THE SKINNY ACCORDING TO NICK CULLHAME AT THE END OF THE SHOW 3 CAST MEMBERS ANGELA LANSBURY , JERRY ORBACH, AND THE GUY WHO PLAYS THE SHERIFF LOOK RIGHT INTO THE CAMERA ANGELA LANSBURY WINKS AND JERRY ORBACH'S FINAL LINE IS " AMD THAT AS THEY SAY IS ALL SHE WROTE" NOW ABOUT THIS SEASON THERE IS ONE EPISODE THAT REALLY TUGGED AT MY HEART STRINGS. THIS IS A EPISODE TITLED : THURSDAYS CHILD. THIS EPISODE IS WHERE A WOMAN PLAYED BY VERA MILES CLAIMS THAT HER AND JESSICA'S HUSBAND FRANK HAD AN AFFAIR DURING THE KOREA WAR. SHE TELLS JESSICA THAT FRANK IS THE FATHER OF HER CHILD. YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE PAIN AND HURT IN JESSICA'S EYES AS SHE FIGHTS TO HOLD BACK THE TEARS ANGELA LANSBURY REALLY SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AN EMMY OR EVEN AN OSCAR FOR HER PERFORMANCE IN THIS EPISODE. THEY SHOULD HAVE ENDED THE SERIES HERE WHILE THEY WERE AHEAD INSTEAD OF PUSHING ON FOR TWO MORE SEASONS. BUT THE THURSDAYS CHILD EPISODE IS ONE THAT WILL ALWAYS STICK IN MY MIND WHEN I THINK BACK ON THIS SERIES.
