About the Author

JENNY GOEBEL is the author of Out of My Shell (2020 Green Earth Book Award Winner for Cadmus' Children's Fiction), Fortune Falls (an Indie Next List pick), and Grave Images (Colorado Book Awards 2014 winner for Juvenile Literature). She lives near Denver with her husband, three sons, three crested geckos, and one mischievous dog.

TAIA MORLEY has worked as a toy and game designer and is an illustrator whose work appears in books, magazines, and packaging. Her books include My New Big-Kid Bed and titles in the Let's Read and Find Out series. She is married to a wonderful guy, and they have four pretty great kids and one old brown dog. She lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
