Directions: Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Use water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating. Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.Children Under 6 Months

Our face sunscreen is similar to our body sunscreen, but it is specifically designed to be invisible under makeup & volunteer testing helped us confirm that. We also added a moisturizer, avocado oil, intended to condition your beautiful skin without any negatives. Finally, we packaged it in a unique tube & pump for easy, mess-free use (only 2-3 pumps needed at a time). We would suggest purchasing our face sunscreen if you want to focus only on that area. Q: Does the package (either the box or tube) come with a seal, so that I can be sure that no one has opened it?

A: Hi There, Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, our body sunscreen that we offer does come with a foil seal over the tip but our face sunscreen does not. Since the product is covered with a plastic cap, that would be why. We hope this helps.

I was hopeful when i bought this given that it’s called “native” but was soon disappointed at the false advertising. It has a definite white cast. It goes on lumpy and is hard to blend in and is super greasy. Would not recommend.

First time we used it my husband burnt but I didn’t, very well could have been related to application. Otherwise it did work well, my only wish is that it was water resistant for any period of time so I would be more comfortable using it for my kids too. It did seem a little sticky on the skin after application but rubbed in well (no white cast) and didn’t come off on furniture or anything.

I truly don’t understand this sunscreen. I bought it because it scores really well on Yuka. I use it on my son who is mixed race (black/white) but he still has pretty light skin. He never gets burnt when I apply it on him. But when I apply it on myself (white), I get absolutely fried. I even tried applying it very thick on my arms and chest still got very sunburnt and I wasn’t in any water. I was going to try the face mineral sunscreen from Native, but the reviews seem to say the same thing on that one. Super big bummer since it’s a “healthier” sunscreen. I’m hoping they’ll change the formula to where people aren’t getting burned while using it, but still have it remain nontoxic.

I have been on a quest to find a truly mineral-only based sunscreen without chemicals other companies add. Thank you, Native! This truly is unscented; it goes on pretty easily (all mineral sunscreens do need to be rubbed in carefully), doesn’t irritate my skin which many that are labeled ‘mineral’ often do because of added chemical UV filters, it’s a good price, and is now my favorite non-facial sunscreen. I’m very happy!

DO NOT put this item in your purse, because the LID WILL NOT STAY ON. This hasn’t just happened to me once, but on 3 different occasions. But I love this sunscreen so much, and this will not prevent me from buying. Just wish they had a different lid, one that stayed!

I’ve tried several zinc sunscreens before trying Native, and Native is by far the best one! It goes on without leaving a white cast, it’s not super thick, and it actually works well! Plus a little goes a long way!

I use Native deodorant, shampoo, and body wash. I was so excited to use the sunscreen, but sadly have not enjoyed it like the other products. I am one who religiously puts on sunscreen and I hardly ever get burnt. But every time I have been outside and used this sunscreen, I have gotten seriously sun burnt. It's like if you are any amount of sweaty or wet, the application does not take into your skin at all. I have had days where I have applied it anywhere from 4-5 times in a span of 4 hours and I still got badly sun burnt.

Okay so I’ve been looking for a sunscreen for years. Been trying to do better and not get cooked. This has been pretty good compared to the last two I’ve purchased over the past couple years. We went to a theme park during scorching hot weather and as a light skinned chick it usually takes only 1-2 minutes for me to start turning. Well my fam and I came out with no discolorations, skin still looking well blended. Things I’m not a big fan of is: it’s kinda greasy, you have to put in work rubbing it in or it will leave a film. My husband is dark skinned so I saw places on him near his beard that looked blue that I had to strongly rub in. Thankfully we barely got wet. I could see the sunscreen down my kids legs when they ran up to a play area that was shooting up water. So I will see if I can find one that is waterproof and less greasy. But if you are gonna stay out of water and don’t mind doing some extra rubbing then this does work for light and dark skin.

Bought this sunscreen as it had positive ratings on yuka but extremely disappointed. It was my fault that I did not read that it wasn’t water/sweat resistant but I didn’t even think to look as all sunscreen I’ve ever gotten has been water resistant. Unfortunately we bunt terribly because of that. So make sure you read the label on the back!
