I switched to native when Schmidt stopped making unscented. Really like the product. Love the idea of plastic free, but this cardboard design needs work. I can’t put the lid back on after a few uses because the cardboard warps. Had to dig the old plastic lid from the trash to keep it from drying out. Looking forward to improved design on plastic free packaging!

I was excited to try my first plastic-free deodorant but quickly realized this product wore off halfway through my day. Love the concept and smell of this deodorant but can’t justify a future purchase if it doesn’t do its job.

Love the smell. Works great. Love that there is no plastic. Took off a star because the cardboard container is a little tricky to work with… When there is not much left it tends to fall out and you do reach a point where it there is no putting it back in the cardboard. Then you have to decide between holding the little sliver in your hand and putting it on that way or buying a new one. If you raw dog it, it will leave a film of your hands and it is not easy to wipe off, you have to go in and actually wash your hands. But, it is worth it because it is so hard to find plastic free bath and body items that are nice, affordable and work well.

I absolutely love the smell of the coconut vanilla deodorant, it works as well as I expected. Sometimes I reapply to refreshen if I need to. I got the cardboard container, which is a little tricky sometimes as the cardboard can bend or bunch up when trying to put it back on. It's not the worst though and I feel good not adding more plastic to the world. I will continue to buy!

Great, it’s an automatic repurchase for me every time

The most inefective plastic free deoderant I have tried, it does not last. The deoderant also dosent last as long as anyother deoderant ive tried, one stick lasted me about 1 month because I kept reapplying. The design is also horrible compared to other cardboard packaging I've tried. The bottom of the packaging pops off and the wrapper peels after the first use. I've tried other brand like ethique and good people, I'll just stick with my ethique. Though it is more pricy it last longer around 3 months and has better design.

I love Native deodorant! Smells great, works great, and this one is plastic free. I've had other brands that burn or give me a rash bit this never has.

I still can’t push hard enough to get the deodorant up to use

I love the idea of the plastic free packaging, but I found that after a while, the deodorant took on a slight cardboardy aroma (I used the Coco Vanilla flavor). When you get to the end of the tube, since there is nothing holding the deodorant in place, I found it very difficult to use the last bit of it at all-it just kept flying out of the tube. It's a great concept, but I'll be sticking with the regular deodorants for now.

I've been a fan of Native for years and their products continues to be the only deodorant I use. I wish they would have more options for the plastic free deodorant. It's the only ones I buy and I miss out on the limited scents.

I love that this comes in a paper container. So much more convenient and environmentally friendly. I love to have the choice.

Love this deodorant! The coconut vanilla is the only one that seems to work for me. The other scents have too much coconut oil or something and are slimy and not as effective for my body. I LOVE this sustainable packaging!! I’ll only buy this now as we are trying to be plastic free. Not sure why so many other reviewers are struggling with the packaging and getting the d.o. out. I’m in my 3rd/4th and never had any issues. I do keep it in a drawer. One person said they couldn’t put the lid back on and it dried out?? Not sure what was happening there! It’s literally just like other deodorant containers. A handful of times the d.o. has pushed back into the container while applying, but I just keep my finger under the bottom so it doesn’t push down. Not a deal breaker for me for the lack of plastic we won’t use! Mine also lasts for a long time. I do two swipes per pit each day, more in our hot/humid summers. If I’m hiking or climbing extensively, I’m usually a little stinky, but that’d be the case with any deodorant I’d use.

I really love your deodorants. I feel better knowing it doesn’t have all the nasty ingredients normal deodorants have. This scent reminds me of a nice summer at the beach.

I love the fact that the container is not plastic! It took me a little while to determine how to use it, but I figured it out & I admire your company for cutting down the use of plastic. I've been looking for more natural products with less plastic. So, I gave this deodorant a try. I love the smell! And I feel like it works well-long-lasting with a subtle scent. My only critique is the packaging. I love the cardboard! However, the outer sleeve is so tight-fitting that once you use the deodorant for a few days it starts to "swell", which makes it harder to put the cover back on. I may just need to makeshift my own cover, which is fine. And I'm not sure if there's an easy solution, but if there's a way to make the cardboard packaging more usable over time...I'd be 100% hooked! Thanks for making efforts to become more natural and sustainable!

The smell is lovely, but I don't know if they reformulated in the past few years, because it doesn't work as well, and the cardboard packaging is coming apart after a few uses.

I love the idea of not using plastic, but It doesn’t work very well with this product. I had trouble figuring out how to push it up (I asked several friends and they couldn’t figure it out either), and it doesn’t seem to have a top after you figure this out, so it dries out. Love the scent and the actual deodorant.
