A: is this deodorant an Antiperspirant? the above answer isnt a straight forward one
submitted bypatel - 1 year agoA: I haven't seen an antiperspirant labeled Native. Usually products that are labeled "fights odor causing bacteria" isn't antiperspirant because clogging the sweat pores on your body isn't fighting bacteria, it just stops sweat altogether. Clogging your sweat pores isn't good for the body, but I understand why some people might need this option.

Blackberry and green tea is a nice, crisp, slightly sweet deodorant that is perfect for the summer months. The green tea helps balance everything out so that it is fresh, vibrant, and not too fruity. I did not pick up on the basil or peony, but it all blends together to create a bright, juicy deodorant that isn't too sharp scentwise, but pleasantly sweet. I would not say that it smells like a beverage though which is a good thing. The deodorant itself does what it is supposed to do. This would be a repurchase for me, so I highly recommend!

Somehow this is fine through most of the year, including trips to the gym. I do agree with other reviewers that you may need to reapply. However, this doesn't cut it in the summer humidity.

My wife bought me this. It's so perfect. I struggle with my sensitive skin a lot, I've dealt with dry skin and clumping from past deodorants. This one holds up great without making my skin dry or clumping. Still smells great after 2 hrs in the hot sun hiking around a zoo.

I have been using Native Deodorant for years, and it is the best natural deodorant. I used the sensitive skin and usually get the Sandalwood and Shea Butter. Great scent and does not break me out. I highly recommend it.

Both my boyfriend and I tried this deodorant, and we each ended up with red, itchy rashes in our armpits after just a couple uses. It was super uncomfortable and took days to calm down even after we stopped using it. We don’t normally react to products like this, so something in the formula clearly didn’t agree with our skin. Really disappointed and won’t be repurchasing.

I have been using Native deodorant for quite a few years now. The different flavors always smell so good and it’s the only deodorant that keeps me from armpit odor. You save a little money by buying the three pack from the website rather than the local store. I like that you can pick your own flavors.
