Our face sunscreen is similar to our body sunscreen, but it is specifically designed to be invisible under makeup & volunteer testing helped us confirm that. We also added a moisturizer, avocado oil, intended to condition your beautiful skin without any negatives. Finally, we packaged it in a unique tube & pump for easy, mess-free use (only 2-3 pumps needed at a time). We would suggest purchasing our face sunscreen if you want to focus only on that area. Q: Does the package (either the box or tube) come with a seal, so that I can be sure that no one has opened it?

A: Hi There, Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, our body sunscreen that we offer does come with a foil seal over the tip but our face sunscreen does not. Since the product is covered with a plastic cap, that would be why. We hope this helps.

The label says not to use this sunscreen "if swimming or sweating." (See the highlighted line in my attached photo.) So the only appropriate instance in which you using this sunscreen would be appropriate is if you're sitting in the shade. But then you wouldn't need sunscreen, would you? Pointless. I'm returning it and buying sunscreen that actually serves a purpose.

I'm transitioning from using black girl sunscreen for what has been 5 years because I realize the ingredients are trash. In trying this sunscreen from Native, it definitely has a white cast that you have to spend extra time buffering out. Outside of that, I don't really have an issue with the product. My face feels hydrated throughout the day

I typically like and support the Yuka approved products like Native, but this was a BIG disappointment! As other negative reviewers said, it’s very pasty and sticky and leaves a horrible white cast that gets all over my car interior, my clothes and the equipment at the gym that I work out on. I truly hope you guys will consider reformulating your sunscreen!!! I’d use it every day, but now, like the others, I’m ready to just throw it out. Big letdown.

First time I ever used this and just didn't want the heavy scent of my go to Sun bum which has always protected me. This takes forever to rub in and I was pink after 90 minutes in the sun. Doubled the amount the next day...RED . Thanks... not like skin cancer is a concern. In the trash it goes and that's an expensive lesson.

Works well for normal everyday use. Everyone that says they got burnt were using it incorrectly. If you read the directions it states if you’re going to get in water or sweat then you need to use a water resistant sunscreen. Meaning this is not. That would be why all of these people are getting burnt. For me it rubbed in well, had no white cast, and no smell. I was outside for about 2 hours. I did not sweat and did not get burnt. If you’re not going to do anything with water this is an awesome sunscreen. Native makes great products. I do however wish it was water resistant

It lasts about 30 minutes in direct sunlight working outside, and if you sweat and apply to your face it will literally melt contact lenses to your eye causing corneal edema. It is not water, sweat, work or anything resistant, especially not to sun. 100% the worst sunscreen I have ever bought. 1 star because -5 stars isn't an option.

I wanted so badly to like this sunblock, and replaced all my other sunblock with 3 tubes of this, but sadly, this is nothing but lotion. Took this to the beach for 2 days and my whole family got burnt to a crisp (even after reapplying several times). So disappointing.

It’s worked quite well for my family compared to other mineral sunscreens. The key to mineral sunscreen being effective is applying it PRIOR to sun exposure. I have found that this one works better than some other popular clean brands. The only thing that’s a bit different is the time it takes to rub in, so I prefer not to use it on faces. It does not leave a white cast. But other than that I think it’s a great safe sunscreen choice, especially for the price

I have been going on a binge for buying native products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.) I have enjoyed using Native so far and so when I saw they made sunscreen I also bought that too. I have had no issues with the sunscreen at all, I apply it like normal and I haven't noticed any problems. Why is my rating so low then? This sunscreen cannot keep itself closed when it is in my backpack at all. I like to keep a variety of different useful items in my bag at all times so that I can use them whenever I may need them, and this sunscreen is one of said items. Multiple times now, I have opened my bag to an explosive mess of white cream coating all my belongings. The cap for this sunscreen does not do a good job at all when it comes to containing the sunscreen in it's bottle, thus leading to the unsavory greasy coating on all my things. I have even had a few items get completely ruined because sunscreen had gotten inside of them. If they would just fix this issue I would feel much better about giving this sunscreen a higher rating.

I tried this product because of the size and the brand is one that Ive used in the past, Ive used this product for 6 months and its not great. Ive gotten sunburned everytime, the smell is very chemical forward, and it doesnt last one bit in the water. I'm now on the hunt for a new suncreen and probably gonna throw this one away.

I have an allergy to the sun and I have found that mineral sunscreen work better than chemical in preventing a reaction. Because of this, I was excited to try this sunscreen because it rubbed in well. The first time I used it, it was completely fine. The second time, however, I broke out in a massive rash within 10 minutes. I’m not allergic ti sunscreen as a whole, so something in the product must have caused it.

Great mineral sunscreen that rubs in easily and doesn't leave you looking white. Just wish Native made a waterproof version. We use this when we are outside in parks, at festivals, etc. but never when swimming.
