I wouldn’t consider myself sensitive to smells but I thought it was too sweet. Would definitely like to try a different scent as I like the product itself but for sure no more birthday cake for me.

I bought this as a blind buy with a pick-up order. I never opened a bottle so fast to take sniff of something, and I was not disappointed. It really does smell like vanilla cake batter, and I love it. I might even say more than the Native Sugar Cookie flavor, which I stocked up on. Now that I am down to the last bottle of the Sugar Cookie, this scent will absolutely be its replacement. I wish they could put one of the gourmand scents as a permanent scent, like this one. Native always comes through with scents, but the product itself is what keeps me coming back. Suds, makes you feel clean clean without any residue. It's hard to explain, but it's a clean that you absolutely want.

I love this scent. My husband loves the brown sugar and he’s very picky about me using his product so I had to fine my own. This sweet and light scent is wonderful! I wish they had a lotion to match!

The scent doesn’t really linger for too long. But I do appreciate how big the bottle is and how much product comes in it.

Scent is so good and the texture and lather is really great. You don’t have to use a lot to get a good lather and the scent definitely stays with you all day especially when you layer it with the lotion after.

I often joke that if I could smell like a candy shop sneezed on me while simultaneously a donut shop exploded in my direction and blew me into an ice cream parlor, well that would be the vibe I was going for. So needless to say I jumped at the chance to try Native's Limited Edition "Piece of Cake" Body Wash. It was developed to celebrate their 10th birthday. It features notes of buttercream, sugared strawberries, and whipped vanilla. It smells SO good! You've probably already seen reviews that say it's cake in a bottle. Believe them! In fact, taking these photos and videos made me so hungry that cake went on the grocery list. Scent aside, this is just a great body wash all around. A little goes a very long way. It's not too thick and it's not too runny. It suds up great, lathers nicely, and rinses off easily without leaving a sticky or filmy residue behind. Native is a clean brand and the product is cruelty free, vegan and also free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, and dyes. I love this so much I plan to get the matching lotion to double up on fragrance.

At first it smells like a vanilla birthday cake but then you get the notes of strawberry. It’s the exact kind of gourmand scent that I really enjoy. It is also a good value because of the size of the bottle, 18oz v the body wash I was previously using that was 10oz. I love how this only has a few select ingredients and it tells you the exact purpose of each. It also contains no harmful ingredients. Despite all this, it still had an amazing lather and left my skin feeling clean, moisturized and soft. It worked better for my sensitive skin than many other brands. All in all, I absolutely love it and this will be another Native product I add to my rotation.

The fragrance is a perfect blend of buttercream and vanilla with a light sweetness of strawberries. This soap lathers well and you don't need to use a lot. It washes off cleanly and does not leave any leftover product feeling on your skin. Once out the shower the scent does not linger on my skin which is a big plus for me. This body wash delivers on scent and performance.

I bought this on a whim and my goodness, it smells delicious 😋 it's like bathing in yummy cake batter. What a delightful way to start my mornings!

I love that this brand is quite affordable but is made with clean ingredients, and free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, and dyes. This is a great scent with just the right bit of vanilla. The perfect amount of suds, moisturizing, and rinses off nicely. I will definitely purchase this brand again

I’ve been using Native body wash for a long time and have tried numerous different scents and I’ve been looking for that perfect vanilla scent which I have yet to discover at Native until I just tried this one “Piece of Cake”. It smells so good and has a long lasting scent. Please make this a regular scent as it’s the best vanilla you’ve made thus far. Just fantastic!
