Remarkably different
The actual product inside looks nothing like the picture on the outside of the box. In actuality, the filling is practically non-existent and the icing is barely there. These have definitely changed over the years and sadly not for the better. False advertising for sure as the picture looks nothing like the actual product today.

When you think of the face of an orangutan, it is hard to justify these products that are driving them to extinction. Palm plantations mean habitat destruction, and a real shame to see Nature's Path enabling the "sustainability" myth. Organic is good but not all that we need to save the planet. I was going to order these pastries but at least I won't be packing on the pounds. No palm oil products for me!

I originally purchased this just for my kiddos, but now I buy it for all of us. It's so good! Full of flavor with none of the yucky artificial stuff. My kids ask for this Nature's Path EnviroKids cereal or their toaster pastries daily.

Shame on you Nature's Path
Most educated consumers know that most food packaging does not match the actual product, but these toaster pastries really miss the mark. The frosting is nothing like the chocolate shown on the package - it's actually more of a light beige, and the frosting doesn't even cover the entire top of the pastry - a few in the package did not even have frosting in the middle - instead there were empty areas where the frosting was skipped over.

Seems like they made some changes
I used to get these at the grocery store, but for some reason I can't find them anywhere. I was so excited to be able to purchase them online, as they are my favorite toaster pastry. When I got my box, and opened one up, I noticed that the frosting was barely there. Some parts weren't coated. They were also very dry. I feel like the ingredients changed or maybe the attention to detail is lacking, because they didn't taste the same. Now I'm reluctant to buy another box because ALL of the pastries were like that. Not just one single box. :(

Didnt care for these at all. 'While I appreciate that they are made made with real organic ingredients, their taste is seriously lacking. Not enough filling in them , or frosting on them. Tastes dry, not sweet enough, and nothing like "Pop Tarts", which is the only true comparison, in my opinion-as I grew up eating only those. I was skeptical when ordering them, as I have tried other off brand toaster pastries through the years. Sadly, these won't be replacing "Pop Tarts" in my family, even though they are made with organic ingredients, simply because of the unpleasant taste.

I love these pastries
Great pre ride fuel I have been using for year. They are not to sweet and I enjoy the lack of frosting. As for the other reviews. . . Go buy poptarts if you want more frosting and extra sweetness. . . Would recommend bringing a couple more un frosted options back

The previous reviewers are idiots; go get a freaking pop tart if that is what you're after! These toaster pastries are amazing. The chocolate is rich and I love the thin amount of frosting on top. In fact, believe me I let the company know when they discontinued the un frosted granny's apple pie and un frosted blueberry I was very disappointed. Blueberry is great (unfrosted was better) Granny's Apple pie is great (again, unfrosted was better), Unfrosted Strawberry and Pumpkin Pie all great. Keep doing what you're doing!

Tasty but lacking
I loved the s'mores pop tarts back in the day and thought the frosted Lotta Chocolatta would be a great substitute without all the garbage ingredients of pop tarts and have to say they are a good substitute. Like another reviewer, I was really disappointed with the amount of frosting on the top. It's just an inch smear of frosting right down the center-nothing like the box shows. It's not even a thick stripe of frosting either. This is my second time purchasing this flavor and I was hoping that the first box was a fluke, but it looks like skimping on the frosting is the norm.
