Our glycolic acid body wash exfoliates uneven and bumpy texture to reveal softer, smoother skin. Formulated with an AHA blend including glycolic, lactic, pyruvic and tartaric acids, our cleanser sloughs off dead skin cells, while red algae hydrates for softer, smoother more supple looking skin. Can also be used as a facial cleanser.

A: Thank you for reaching out to us. We would always avoid skincare actives on fresh tattoos (besides sunscreen & moisturizer). Glycolic Acid shouldn’t go as deeply into the skin as the ink from tattoos, so there’s no need to worry. However, over-use of exfoliators (and lack of sunscreen) can fade the appearance of tattoos over longer periods of time.

I have purchased at least 2 or 3 bottles of this over the years and I can say it did improve the texture of my skin greatly. I was pleasantly surprised. I do have keratosis pilaris and quite a bit of scarring. This body wash did absolutely nothing for those issues. The improvement in the texture of my skin is the reason why I keep buying it.

4.5 stars! It’s been 3 months since I’ve bought this and used it multiple times a week. This is a great product, a little goes a long way. I typically used it on my loofa with my body wash, after washing with my bar soap. I’m a sweater!! Due to this, I always feel there is an odor. However, even in my hot zones, I don’t have any smell. I worked in the yard, in the heat from 9a to 3p one day without deodorant, and barely had any smell across my entire body. I also notice an over reduction in my sweating, which I feel comes from this consistent use. I first felt a sense of slickness after I rinsed off, but I realize it leaves a light layer of moisturizing. For someone with dry skin, this is a plus! It is pricey, but if you’re using it in moderation (half dollar size daily) then you should be fine. This could easily last me another 4 months. There is NO scent, which is good and allows me to pair it with other body washes.

Been using this for the past two weeks and almost immediately noticed a difference. Skin is smoother and much softer, the dark spots on my knuckles are gone, and overall glowing skin. I used a silicone scrubber when applying this and I think that also helps.

I used to LOVE this body wash. It was the only thing that worked great for my sensitive skin, and got rid of my KP (bumps on my arms) while I was using it. The last couple times I tried buying it I had to return because the consistency was all over the place. It typically has the consistency similar to shampoo or conditioner, but the last time one bottle was completely separated with a solid chunk on the bottom, and clear liquid on top, and the other time it had cottage cheese consistency. I tried shaking them and it would not mix back together.

Bleaching creams, medicated creams, bio-oil, nothing worked until I tried this. I finally caved and bought a bottle. I have only used 1/2 and have seen such a difference. The scars have faded; some have fully disappeared. This is not a sponsored review, I bought this with my own money. And I am sold. I will keep this in my routine. I love this body wash. I have sensitive skin that is somewhat dry and have found that this exfoliates enough without really irritating anything. I have seen an improvement in hyperpigmentation but you absolutely need a moisturizer. I wouldn't use this on the eyelids unless you have particularly oily skin. I have repurchased this and will definitely get it again.

Definitely not good for sensitive skin. It causes rush and itching. It had no effect on dark spots and acne. I waited patiently for the bottle to finish to comment. It's not good for me. Maybe I chose the wrong product.

I really like this product, it cleanses and gently exfoliates/smooths out skin well. However, I will advise to take the sunburn alert on the bottle seriously, because even after using the same sunblock I usually use, and trying to stay out of the sun at the beach, I got a nasty sunburn - the first one in six years! You’re supposed to stop using this product a week before getting sun, so I went ahead and put it away until summer is over to avoid accidentally using it and getting sunburned again. I know this product is to blame because I only got sunburned in the areas where I used it, from my neck down.

I bought this highly recommended from the pharmacist. My hyperpigmentation on my arms and back are barely visible and almost gone because of it. I have had hyperpigmentation marks due to allergic reaction for five years and literally tried everything, nothing worked although expensive in my region but worth it. Bought this product and directly got a rash on my arms which worsened the days after. After a couple of days the rash was all over my body. Never experienced something like this (I also used glycolic acid from the Ordinary, without any problems). I am really shocked because of the reaction and I am on oral and topical steroids at the moment. I absolutely dont recommend this product. See pictures.

This body wash helped clear my arms and back within just a few days of use. The wash is fragrance free, and goes on smooth.
