Having to dunk them into a bucket of water and watching them refill instantly was perfect and a mess free way to fill them without having to get water everywhere. These are so worth it. Fills easily every time. Just simply dunk in water to fill. These can even be filled by a toddler. Sprays nicely and a good distance. Comes in a nice two pack for easy battle. They hold up great to kids tossing them into the grass.

Otherwise, you won't have enough pressure for the mechanism to open and have the water flow in. It is also easy if you want to fill it upside down by filling the hole. The pressure is pretty strong. There is no trigger and works by pumping. Overall, it's a cool toy, and I can't wait to play with my kid outside when it's warmer.

The water guns came 2 in pack I have never used a dunk-fill water gun before and it worked much better than I expected. You do have to keep a bucket or container around filled with water but other than that it works just like any pump action water gun. It also has good pressure when spraying. The reservoir doesn’t hold a lot of water so it does run out pretty quickly but at least it fills up super fast. All you have to do is submerge it straight up and down in water and it’s filled. We definitely had fun running around with the 2 we received. We did try to fill them manually without having to dunk them but it doesn’t work so you do have to have a bucket or container filled w/ water on hand to be able to keep playing.
