it took me two weeks to figure out that there are 2 kinds of pods. Espresso and coffee pods but the sampling helps to distinguish both. As far as coffee taste, it is better than going to starbucks and buy 6-8 dollars cup of latte but finding the store that sells pods are way more difficult. I had to stop by 2 safeways and it is not nespresso brand. So it is kind of high maintenance thing I guess. Design could be little bit more smaller but I guess the quality of coffee would be different I guess. So I compromised design over the taste of coffee. Over all not bad it is good experience. Hope it lasts long.

I bought this Nespresso Vertuo set last December 2, 2023. It broke yesterday, November 26, 2024. I would like a replacement please. This is disappointing because the last Nespresso I had, lasted 5 full years!

I grew up in an Italian household and have been drinking coffee since I was extremely young. I also was a barista when I was younger, and have every type of brew system out there to enjoy my coffees depending on my mood. The biggest problem I had at work was not having a quick brew system for being on the go. I would usually bring in coffee I made at home but would run out early on, and I did not want to use my departments k-cups (they are tasteless!). I invested in one of these for my desk for work and WOW! I wish I’d done this sooner! Pros: -Coffee is hot -The foam is AMAZING -Flavour notes are clear and have much more body than other (quick pod) machines I’ve used in the past. -Easy one touch button system that reads the pod code -automatic open and close lid -Easy clean up Con: -Louder than I expected Yup, that’s it for cons! If it were a bit more quiet, it would be nice, but of course that is not a deal breaker. I have now purchased a machine for home to add to my other classic espresso machine, French press, pour overs, drip system, etc. I also waited two months to review to make sure it was consistent with taste and performance. I cannot recommend these machines enough!

I got this as a gift and while the coffee is good it is a little loud so hopefully it’s far away from anyone who may still be sleeping. I love the rich creamy taste the coffee has after brewing but I just found it too expensive to use daily especially when sometimes I have two cups of coffee a day! But it does truly make great coffee and holds up well I just wish the pods were a bit cheaper and the machine was a bit quieter
