Perfect for a cold winter night!
It was my first time trying the hot chocolate. It is very easy to make, I chose to make mine with milk instead of water. It wasn't thick, but it wasn't very watery either. I liked the consistency. It is enjoyable when you really don't feel like making hot chocolate from scratch and want something quick to make. It was frothy and it didn't leave any chocolate residue. It was the perfect balance. No aftertaste which is a bit plus for me.

We love Nestle Abuelita Mexican Style Instant Chocolate Mix. These packets make a quick, easy, but FABULOUS hot beverage. Each packet makes a perfect thick, rich serving for a mug. This cocoa has a distinct flavor because of the cinnamon in it. It's just the perfect amount of cinnamon to enhance and not overpower. We also like the Abuelita chocolate tablets that you mix on the stovetop with milk, but these packets are quicker and easier to make, with the same results. And if you're making just one or two mugs, this is better than a tablet for us. Makes a GREAT gift, with a couple of mugs and some churros or Mexican cookies!

A hidden gem in the hot chocolate isle. I love the hint of cinnamon that this brand imparts in their hot chocolate. My favorite over the American standard hot chocolate mixes. I do add my own marshmallows and whipped cream on occasion, however, this brand is very creamy and flavorful.

I was intrigued, I've never had Mexican hot chocolate. I had to have it shipped cos it wasn't available in my store, TOTALLY worth it! Rich chocolate flavor with a hint of cinnamon! I did 2 tbsp of instant coffee and one package of Abuelita in a mug, topped with a marshmallow and so yummy! It's different than regular hot chocolate and it is a nice change of pace.

These are so much easier to make than the chocolate wheels. The flavor is pretty good but it doesn't beat the original. Super easy to make, you just need hot water. There is also a recipe on the box for a hot chocolate coffee. So yummy!

It's a good hot chocolate mix that I find stands out because it has a dash of cinnamon. I find the taste a little lighter than my usual hot cocoa brands. The cinnamon taste is not overpowering. It's just a hint of it but it's refreshing and just perfect to get into the warm and cozy holiday spirit. You mix it with hot water and it's that easy to make. I like to mix it with milk, dark chocolate and let it melt to perfection. I prefer a richer cocoa flavor but it's definitely worth a try as it's inexpensive and comes in a box of eight packets.
