Q: Can you tell me why this needs to have blue dye in it? What exactly does that do for your skin? I think that's a horrible ingredient when you've taken the time to remove parabens. I returned mine.

Q: This product seems to be water-based and that would suggest that it goes on before a cream or oil based moisturizer, but this has dimethicone as an ingredient, which is an occlusive. Would I use this before or after a cream based moisturizer?

As someone who has super sensitive skin, I’ve tried multiple high end and low end brands but THIS moisturizer is better than anything I’ve tried! It’s super lightweight and feels very hydrating and cool when applied. My skin used to be dry and flaky and this is the only product that has fixed that issue. Has not irritated my skin at all and I’ve been using for over a year. Highly highly recommend!

After applying, my skin stings quite a bit. Gel does keep my skin from seeming dry and if it didn't sting I'm sure it'd feel refreshing, but overall I would rather use a regular moisturizing cream. No other product causes my skin to react like this one.

Neutrogena… why did you discontinue the water-cream?! This water gel is aweful. It doesn’t moistUrize nearly half as well as the water-cream. So irritated, now i need to find a new moisturizer. Bring back the water-cream for extra dry skin!

I have been using a 2% salicylic acid solution for acne that makes my skin be extra dry and I love how gentle and moisturizing this is.
