This is my first novel by Lynn H. Blackburn, and I am hooked! Never Fall Again was a fantastic romantic suspense. The characters in this book are so well-developed and written, that you’ll feel like you’re a part of one of the big, overbearing-yet-charming families of Gossamer Falls before you finish the first two chapters. The suspense is realistic and palpable, making me turn pages past my bedtime. Plus the slow-burn romance between Cal and Landry is worth waiting for! Overall, as a fan of romantic suspense, I’d highly recommend Never Fall Again. It is everything I’ve come to love in the romantic suspense genre! I’m so glad to have found Lynn H. Blackburn, and look forward to her storytelling in the next book in the series. (Can I hope it’s Mo’s story, please!?!) I was given a copy of this book by the publisher with no expectations of a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Never Fall Again by Lynn H Blackburn lives up to her thrilling and suspenseful writing style. Landry Hutton (who I keep treading her name as Laundry!). Has spent three years rebuilding her life pretty much in seclusion. She’s an artist at a high-end resort catering to the high-end guests. She’s the artist in residence making well-known pottery pieces, which provides for her and her daughter, Eliza. Once stable, she ventures out to build a new home. She meets Cal and instantly they hit it off. However, Landry is not one to trust those around her. Certainly not a man after her experiences with her late abusive husband. However, Landry finds herself falling in love with Cal. Cal is not one to easily trust women given his past experiences. Will he be able to trust as well? Can they deny this love? Will they risk it? This thrilling novel will keep you on your toes. I kept reading to try and figure out who was causing issues and wanted to destroy Landry and Cal's relationship. It’s not until the end that the villain is reveal. This was an excellent read. I highly recommend Never Fall Again. This is the first book in the Gossamer Falls collection and it's off to a great start!

Wow! What a fantastic book filled with suspense, intrigue, and love! I was immediately drawn into the story, and I could barely put the book down! I love all of the characters! Landry is amazing! She's had a hard life, but she is a successful businesswoman! Cal is hunkalicious! He's gentle, compassionate, and reliable. The rest of the family clan are personable and easy to like! Shout out to Maisy! She's a true blue companion! The author is such a great writer! She weaves a story that twists and turns! I was surprised and shocked at who the perpetrator was. Side note- I'd like to visit a place like The Haven! It sounds delightful! I was provided a copy of the book from the publisher/author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Never Fall Again is the first book in Lynn H. Blackburn's newest series, Gossamer Falls. "Welcome to Gossamer Falls. Where we do things the way we want to. You can learn to do it our way, or you can leave." Read for: small town in NC strong family ties single-parent adorable children long-time feud strong cast of characters MC former marine I enjoyed all the characters. I found them (except the villain) to be likable, and well-developed. I wondered about a few things as I read the story, but overall, it is a strong start to a new series. It is worth noting that there is not as much suspense in Never Fall Again as long-time fans would expect there to be. The romance seems to be more prominent than the suspense. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and can't wait to read the next book in the series. Thank you to Revell for the opportunity to read this book. This book transported me immediately to the beautiful setting of Gossamer Falls, captivated me and would not let me go. The story of Landry, a single mother who is threatened from an unknown source, and Cal, a hero who just wants to stay away from women, is one of the best I have read in romantic suspense. The suspense builds methodically as I was introduced to the characters and got to know more about the danger Landry and her young child Eliza faced. As the danger became more real, my heart was in my throat and this book was absolutely unputdownable. The characters were dynamic, relatable and lovable, if somewhat mysterious. One of my favorite characters is Mo, a man with a lot of secrets and a talent with technology that gets him into secret places with little effort. I also enjoyed meeting Landry, the young woman burned by love who is guarding her and Eliza’s hearts from being hurt again so she is not looking for a new relationship when she moves to Gossamer Falls. The developing friendship between Cal and Landry is realistic and engaging, with my cheering for them to step out and take a chance on love again. The process was fascinating to read and completely entertaining. I loved the suspense that was built into the story, with some really big surprises as Landry’s life and livelihood are attacked. This book is a fast-paced and well-written introduction to what I am sure will be an enthralling series. The author always does a wonderful and thorough job of research and I especially enjoyed the information about Cal’s contracting business and Landry’s pottery. All of the facts from their backgrounds contributed to my fascination with the edgy and brilliantly written tale with its clever twists and complex intrigue that kept the plot moving to a satisfying conclusion. Never Fall Again is the sweetest romantic suspense. A lady who needs protecting, a contractor not looking for love, a meddling family…. What’s not to love? The humorous family dynamics between extended family was one of my favorite parts. I couldn’t put this one down!

Author Lynn H. Blackburn introduces her new series, Gossamer Falls, with book #1, Never Fall Again. I loved Cal and Landry as her choices of names for the main characters! Blackburn has crafted a moving story of two strong, independent people who have suffered terrible heartbreaks. They never intend to fall for anyone again. That is, until circumstances cause their paths to cross, the unexpected happens. This quote is one of my favorites from Blackburn’s book: “Landry took a deep breath and went for it. ‘I know that if you ever got to the point where you were willing to risk it, I would be safe with you.’ ‘Landry, this’–a quick squeeze–’ isn't risky. This is right.’” My favorite thing about this book is how Blackburn takes a plot and creates a beautifully crafted story that compels people to feel as though they are participants rather than mere readers. It was a pure delight to watch this mystery be solved and to watch this glorious love story unfold. I was provided a complimentary copy of this book by Revell and NetGalley. Sigh. Swoon. Never Fall Again is much lighter on the suspense, and I was a little disappointed with that at first. But as the story developed, I appreciated the smaller bites of suspense and greater focus on the relationship development in a less-frantic setting. Cal’s tender care and protection of Landry and Eliza is endearing, and Landry’s respect for Cal and his experience is refreshing, especially in a world that tells women we can—and should—do it all, and her dedication to caring for Eliza well as a single parent cements her as an amazing heroine. With the sweet romance, elements of mystery, and strong family bonds, Blackburn’s Never Fall Again is the perfect way to kick off her newest series. I received an ARC. I had the pleasure of reading an advanced copy of "Never Fall Again." I loved this story from beginning to end. I loved the characters. I loved the dialog. It totally reminded me of a Dee Henderson book. I loved the slow burn and the hint of suspense as the story was building. I wish I could move to Gossamer Falls. I know I would be friends with Landry and Eliza is the sweetest. I can't wait for the next story in this series!

Never Fall Again is the first book in the new Gossamer Falls series, written by Lynn Blackburn. This is a story of a decades long family feud and a single mom who flees with her daughter to Gossamer Falls to start a new life. I so enjoyed this book. I loved the development of the characters and a setting that makes me want to pack my bags and move. This book is filled with romance and suspense, emotion and surprises that caused me to laugh out loud, tear up and be right in the moment. However, something that happened between the two main characters struck me most. Landry Hutton and Callum Shaw have both had tragedies in their past that they kept hidden at the beginning. Despite those tragedies (or more likely because of it) they both gained a strength that they otherwise may not have. That strength caused them to communicate well and questioned things if it didn't make sense. Lol it still amazes me that i didn't have to yell at them to "just communicate". I highly recommend this book and can not wait for book 2 to come out! *I'm so thankful to have gotten an advanced copy. These thoughts and opinions are mine. *

Loved this book! It's a slow build suspense with a bit of romance but it's not super smoochy romance. The story was phenomenal with just the right amount of action and mysterious events. I started reading and could not put the book down. I had to work and was resentful of the time taken from reading. This is part 1 of a series and I am eagerly anticipating the next installment. Love the characters in this small town of Gossamer Falls and the Quinn family (main characters of the series) is wonderful! Highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed in this story. I received a free copy of Never Fall Again but my review is honest and entirely my own.

I loved this book from start to finish. You meet so many fun characters and I loved Cal and Landry’s story. Lynn describe the places one story and it makes me want to go visit them. Lynn keeps you intrigued from the beginning. I cannot wait to read the next books in the series.

Big family ✓ Christians ✓ Kids ✓ Dog ✓ Lynn Blackburn's newest book Never Fall Again has it all! Big family, Christmas, kids, and dogs! I absolutely loved every minute of this book! There is just the right amount of romance with some suspense thrown in there too. And we also get to meet the characters for the books that will follow this book. I've already fallen in love with every one of them! Great job Lynn Blackburn on this outstanding first book in your new series!

This is going to be another fantastic series for my reading pleasure! The group of characters introduced in this book have me already intrigued and wondering where the next books are going to take them, and the mysteries they are going to encounter. This author has a special knack for crafting character groups that I immediately want to be a part of and stories that I immediately adore. This is no exception. I’m all in for the rest of the Gossmer Falls series. The mystery of this one really had me guessing and the relationship between Cal and Landry was so sweet. I am already extremely curious at the backstory of a couple characters and how that’s going to play out in the rest of the series and I can not wait for those stories! Straight to the keeper shelf for this one! I received a copy of this book from the publisher and have preordered my own Audible copy as well. All thoughts are my own.

Have you ever read a book that you wanted to crawl into and be apart of the story because you loved it so much?! This book was that for me! It has romance, suspense, family drama, lovable characters, and emotional. I loved the small town feel you get from Gossamer Falls as well as the scenic mountains and views making it somewhere you would want to live/ visit. The Quinn family are so welcoming of everyone and supportive of each other and their friends that you wish you were apart of the family. Landry Hutton has not had an easy life and escapes to Gossamer Falls to find a better life for her and her young daughter. She crosses paths with Cal Shaw when she wants to build her own home. Cal, who also has a wounded past, is drawn to Landry and Eliza but doesn’t want to risk his heart again. As things began happening that endangers the lives of Landry and Eliza, Cal and the Quinn’s work to keep them safe while trying to discover how is behind the danger. Never Fall Again is a must read! It is one of my favorite books that I have read in a long time. I am so excited for this series and look forward to learning more about the Quinn family. Cal is the sweetest cinnamon roll of a man, and while I loved his relationship with Landry, I LOVED his relationship with Eliza, Landry’s daughter. Lynn writes her characters very realistically and gives them such great banter. This book covers some pretty tough topics, like abuse, betrayal, and church hurt, but Lynn did such a good job of showing how God can heal our hurts and relationships and give us hope for the future. Cal and Landry are perfect for each other. Cal is a former Marine and his instincts are telling him that Landry and her daughter are hiding from someone. When Landry's pottery studio is destroyed he and his family surround them with love and friendship as they try to figure out who is behind it and what exactly they want. The story has a great plot, wonderful characters including Mo, Meredith, and Bronwyn (their stories are coming), suspense, action, romance, spiritual content and humor. I love the family aspect of the story, everyone in Cal's family sets out to protect and care for Landry and Eliza from his parents, to grandparents, to in-laws and cousins. i can't want for the next book in the Gossamer Falls series.

It's just mid-March and I may have just read one of my 'top 10' books of the year! Never Fall Again has characters that I want to be friends with, family ties to treasure, and a romance to savor. I loved the almost-instant connection between Landry Hutton and Callum Shaw but watching it blossom, and then burst into a flaming attraction, was tantalizing, to say the least. Cal didn't know her past but his willingness to help Landry and his acceptance of her little girl Eliza was precious! Would his determination to never fall again prevent his wounded heart from trusting again? Author Lynn H. Blackburn has created an extraordinary cast of characters for this story. Cal, Landry, Eliza, and a special pet named Maisy take center stage in Never Fall Again, but many other characters grabbed my attention, and I'm hoping that they'll be featured as the Gossamer Falls series progresses. I'm especially eager to learn more about the feud between the Pierce and Quinn families! If you're looking for a fascinating romantic suspense story, grab a copy of Never Fall Again as soon as possible. I believe that you'll be as intrigued as I am! I am a long time fan of Lynn H. Blackburn's writing, and this novel is my favorite thus far. The romance between two wounded souls gives the story the emotional element that bonds characters and readers. The intense suspense is what grasps the readers' attention and keeps them highly engaged. While some elements are likely only to occur in books or movies, it doesn't spoil the heart of the story. Never Fall Again is a multi-themed book focusing most on emotional healing, healthy familial relationships, and honoring God. These themes are well-developed within this gripping tale. I am looking forward to the second book in Blackburn's Gossamer Falls series, and am grateful to have received a complimentary copy of this first book of the series from Revell via NetGalley without obligation. "Secrets bring despair. Surprises bring delight." I love Lynn H Blackburn's writing and have been waiting anxiously for this new series to begin. Gossamer Falls is my kind of town - small, tightly-knit, and absolutely gorgeous. Cal's family is my kind of family, too - large but tightly-knit, a little crazy but fiercely loyal and loving. This first book of the series introduces many characters and lays the groundwork for the series. Though there are a lot of Quinn family members, it's not difficult at all to keep them straight because they're all so unique. I loved Cal and his steadfast protectiveness and his soft, tender heart. His interactions with little Eliza totally stole the show. Landry was easy to love and understand, especially her mama's heart. There was less suspense and action in the book than I expected but I really enjoyed the character-building and world-building in the book. I can envision myself in one of the tiny houses on the river, hanging out with Cal and his cousins. Gossamer Falls and its people have completely captivated me and I can't wait to go back.
