Description
Trippel Belgian Style Ale was the 2021 Great American Beer Festival (GABF) Gold Winner! This craft beer is a big, beautiful Belgian-style ale from New Belgium Brewing. The flavor opens with a bold blast of spicy Noble hops, courtesy of Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfruh, and gives way to the fruity aromas offered by a traditional Belgian yeast. Brewed with Pilsner and Munich malts, Trippel Belgian Style Ale is classically smooth and complex. The beer sings with a high-note of sweet citrus before a pleasantly dry finish delivers a warm, strong boozy bite. Give Trippel a sip to get you smiling. Brewed by New Belgium Brewing, a certified B-Corp and proud member of 1% for the Planet. 8.5% ABV. UOM is 12 fluid ounces. Count per pack: six pack, bottles.

Love This Brewery
I have really been enjoying the Trappist-styles such as St. Bernardus ABT 12. However, this is absolutely delicious and at half the price. I am a big fan of this brwewry. They know their beer.

Outstanding Belgian Triple
I'm a big Belgian beer fan, and have a chance to try quite a few varieties over the years. However, I've never gravitated towards the triples. Tried some, but they were frequently too citrusy, sharp, yeasty, over-carbonated, or just blah. When I saw your triple on the store shelf I hesitated, but bought a six pack out of curiosity. I am glad I did. This is a Belgian triple I can get behind. Malty, a little citrus but not too much, carbonation spot on, and just the right amount of alcohol without getting any unpleasant heat. I'd really like to try a bottle conditioned version of this beer. This beer is now in my regular rotation and I can't recommend it enough.

A light touch can be as effective as over-the-top
On the nose; banana bread, baking spices, orange zest. On the pallet; classic white ale taste, whole wheat bread, orange zest, banana peel, and coriander. Conclusion; tastes like a beer designed by committee, which somehow defied the odds and came out dynamite! Classic white ale style with a wheat base, muted orange and banana notes (more on the nose than the pallet), and subtle spiciness of coriander and clove. Proof that a light touch can be as effective as over-the-top.

Light and airy
One of the smoothest triples i have ever had. Not overly heavy like most. Clean and gentle. Very elegant beer.

Oh so delicious!
I've loved this beer for over a year now. It's hard to find, and a bit pricey, but on a special occasion it's a must!

A Perfect alternative
I was looking for an alternative to the crowded IPA crowd. Having had 12 or 15 Trippels over the last few years, and enjoyed them all, I enthusiastically grabbed a six pack when I saw it. I was not disappointed. It has a smooth, rounded, full bodied flavor without being heavy. We drank this on a warm late summer afternoon, and never felt full like some full bodied beers. The added warm glow after a couple bottles (8.5 ABV) was an added bonus.

Love it!
An exquisite beer with a pronounced taste and rich flavor. If you're going to only have one beer, this is an extraordinary choice! I love this strong pale ale!

Great Tripel for a very good price
While not my favorite Tripel it is still solid and a bargain compared to what some other Belgium Tripels go for. I do like the orange honey version better but it is not available in California anymore. Solid 4 stars, 4.5 stars when you factor in value.

This beer will change your life
There was once a time when New Belgium beers were not available in Virginia and during beach trips into the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I would stock up on this beer, Mothership Wit, Ranger IPA (the OG), and of course Fat Tire to bring back for my family and friends. These beers and the story of their founding inspired me to go beer tasting in Belgium and Germany, then eventually take up home brewing to recreate the deliciousness that they had to offer. Prior to this I was just a Michelob Light drinking fool with no purpose in life. Life changing stuff here!
