The design is very nice, but like another reviewer said, it does lean a bit. It's taller in person than it looks in the photo so check the measurements before buying online. There was a horizontal cut on the inside of the lampshade (made of plastic) about 3 inches across near the top and it's noticeable from the outside. I have bought much cheaper lamps that did not have any kind of damage so this was disturbing. I am wondering whether to return it but not sure I want to deal with the hassle. Buyer beware!

Horrible quality/craftsmanship of the most integral part: securing stand to base. 1 part that screws together was not tight & when trying to make it tight, it stripped & then was useless. It is otherwise beautiful. This is the *3rd* similar style of floor lamp I’ve tried to buy from Target & every single one has been the same issue. The lamps are like 5 parts…it can’t be this hard to craft a quality lamp that can securely stand upright.

The quality of this lamp is great and it is exactly as pictured. I was a little confused with how to get the lamp shade on and it didn’t come with any instructions, but once I figured it out it worked great (and I felt a little dumb because it was easy — once I figured it out!). We have a couple of these in our home and I’m just not a fan of the way it looks in our space. The pictures are beautiful, but the way this lamp looks definitely depends on the angle you place it at.

Nice-looking—except for the fact that, although everything is tightened all the way (etc.), the lamp leans noticeably forward, making for a somewhat awkward appeaeance. I'm going to attach several layers of some kind of thick "furniture-bottom felt" to the front of the base, so that the vertical part of the lamp is actually perpendicular to the floor.

I love the style of this lamp but when I got it home and put it together the quality of the material was disappointing. The lamp is not sturdy and leans a little. You can get this style lamp at other stores at half the price but I was willing to spend a little more for better quality. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

Exactly what I wanted and needed! Love the floor switch and the fact that the pole is to the side of the base and not right in the middle so I could fit it beside the couch. It’s stylish and lovely!
