Q: What is the assortment - how many of each size are in the box of 50 and the box of 100? The small ones are useless because they don't stay on for more than an hour so I just threw them away without using them.
submitted by cd - 5 years ago
A: The assortments are as follows: 100 ct Asst (#432-100): 40: 7/8" x 1-1/16"; 30: 1-1/4" x 2-1/2"; 30: 1-1/16" x 2-1/4", 50 ct Asst (#432-50): 20: 7/8" x 1-1/16"; 15: 1-1/4" x 2-1/2"; 15: 1-1/16" x 2-1/4". Best water proof bandage I have ever used. I tried these because I deal with water a lot for my job. And they stay on, are completely waterproof and wonderful. Most adhesives irritate my skin and these don't. I don't buy any other brand anymore.

I love these bandaids! Better than any other brand. As someone with multiple perm scars, I’m always using the large & small mostly, but as a few others stated, I wish there were more large in the pack or at least a separate pack of the Large versions. Thank you for a quality product-they actually stay on a few days even in the shower!

Definitely works! Just make sure you follow the directions on how to apply it, but it’s very easy. Stayed on during swimming at the pool for hours. Photo is after.

How did these ever make it to a store shelf? They are the worst bandages in every way. I can't find even ONE good thing to say about them.

Works well for smaller areas like fingertips. Clear adhesive portion means one can see skin color near would, allowing one to determine if discoloration / infection is occurring.
work well, but padded parts are very small

These did a good job keeping out water. It was a bit tricky to put on, so I wasted one initially, which was too bad because there were only a few of the biggest size. The smallest are so small I will probably never use them. I would not buy this assortment again, but would get a larger size.

I had vein surgery on my leg right before our camping trip. There was no way I wasn’t swimming in the pond during a heat wave so I took a chance and used the waterproof bandages. I have had them on for a whole week, swimming and showering EVERYDAY and they are still completely intact. I just can’t believe it. Thank you for making my vacation week a success!

These have been my go to bandage for years since I am least likely to have a bad reaction to the adhesive. I really wish the large bandages could be purchased separately in a pack of 50 or 100. I’ve been using them to cover wounds for the past two years and really dislike having so many of the smaller bandages I rarely use. I sometimes have difficulty finding them in the store so I order several packs online when I need them.

You have to use the bandages correctly in order for them to work properly. The white edges are not supposed to be taken off until you have properly sealed your cut. They are there to maintain the shape of the bandage until it is on exactly where/how you want it. If you remove them early the bandage wrinkles and falls in on itself. Read the directions to see how to use them correctly. These are the best/most secure bandages I have ever used. I hope they come out with more shapes & sizes.

I got these for my incisions after shoulder surgery and they are PHENOMENAL. Even the nurse said they are the best. Kept my incisions dry during showers and stuck like glue but didn't hurt taking off. The worst part was trying to get part of the material to part from my skin. These are a staple in my first aid kit now.
Great purchase!

I purchased these bandages to cover a wart that I am treating on my pointer finger. I have been using them for a least a week now and they really stay on and are water proof! After a long day of teaching with multiple times of handwashing and applying hand sanitizer, the bandage stayed put. I even did some gardening that afetnoon; watering, planting and rinsing herbs; again the bandage held. It was only when I really scrubbed to get the garden dirt off my hands that the bandage started to peel off, but I already had it on for about 10 hours at that point.

I first bought these years ago and no question, they are the BEST. I'm sensitive to some adhesives with them causing more injury then what I started with. I have no issue at all with these. They hold well, waterproof and comfortable. My husband is on blood thinners and constantly "springs a leak" so these are a must have for him as well. The down side is the store runs out!
Buy these if you need bandage to stay on

Great waterproof bandage, stays on hands even after washing. Somewhat difficult to get off and leaves residue, but to be expected if it stays on so well I guess.

There is a trick to applying these, and it took me a few attempts to get it right. Now that I have the process down, I find them to have a gentle, watertight, long lasting seal. I do wish they offered more shapes/sizes, but the three options in the box suffice for most minor injuries. For the 50-count box vs 20-count box, the price is also quite reasonable.

These are for small cuts and wounds, but I paint for a living and my hands are in and out of chemicals and gloves and water and paint all day long and these keep my cuts sealed and clean. Better yet, unlike other brands, they are easy to apply, even one handed.
1.25x2.5 not available outside assorted box

I love these, but the most used size, for me, for over 10 years, has been the one size they don't have available outside of thr assorted pack. The 1.25" x 2.5" are the one size I use most from the assorted pack, and they aren't available in a one size box, which is frustrating. I pretty much end up throwing the "spot" ones away from those assorted boxes, too.

Opened a box and decided to count the bandage. New box only had 17 bandages not the 20 advertised and what I paid for. Short 3 bandages.

My favorite bandages!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these bandages and use them for pretty much all of my smaller skin-damage injuries (paper cuts, skinned joints, nicks from kitchen knives), and if I apply them correctly they can prevent damaged skin from getting wet in the shower, while doing dishes, washing hands, etc. They seem to adhere best if you clean the surrounding skin with alcohol first, and make sure it dries before you put the bandage on. I sometimes leave these bandages on for multiple days in a row without them ever coming loose; it depends where they are placed and whether there is a lot of friction at the bandage edge. They can absorb pigment from clothes, carrots, etc, but it doesn't affect their adherence. The plastic stretches out a little if it's on flexing skin so you don't even feel them after a bit. They work best on flat skin, and are less waterproof when applied on wrinkly/frequently folded skin or near fingernails because any tiny wrinkles in your skin or the bandage can lead to channels where water can get in. But unlike big hydrocolloid bandages, the edges of these bandages do not absorb water, so if they are sealed on, you are good to go. Nexcare/3M: Please sell packs of the small size bandages only! I never use up the large or medium ones in the multipack.
