@lilisbookmark Book: Nick & Noel’s Christmas Playlist Author: Codi Hall 📚: 9.4/10 🌶: 3/5 Wow. Listen. I absolutely LOVED this book so much I literally cried when I finished it. I finished this book in a week. I could’ve finished earlier but I had to work, eat, and sleep. I could NOT put this book down. I loved it. It was so adorable and well written. It’s a perfect holiday read but honestly if you need some cheer throughout the year, you could easily read it. The characters were so well written and described. They were hilarious if I’m being honest. Codi Hall did a wonderful job with the flow of the storyline! My favorite trope is grumpy girl with sunshine boy and this book was it! I also loved how it’s from BOTH Nick AND Noel’s perspective. I love that. I think most books come from the women’s perspective but it’s beautiful to read how much the guy cares for his love, and what he is thinking and feeling. Let’s talk about spice 🌶. Not gonna lie, this was my first “spicy” book, and it honestly through me off because I had no idea it was a spicy book. BUT, the spicy parts were actually so hilarious, and not in a bad way. It’s just that Codi Hall literally stayed true to the characters she wrote throughout the whole book. The ONLY reason why I didn’t give it a 10/10 is because I just WISHED we could’ve gotten more at the end. It wasn’t a bad ending, but I just wanted more. A time jump or something, I wanted to know where the characters were in the future. Even if was just an epilogue of some sort. I highly, highly recommend this book. My sister and I both read it and loved it! 🤍
