Nighthawk by Bota Gold Buttery Chardonnay Wine - 3L Box

I bought this based on my loyalty to the other Nighthawk selections. This "Buttery Chardonnay"? Would NOT recommend. No depth, no true Chardonnay flavor and it was drinking a marshmallow. Not good and do not recommend.

I have been drinking red wines for 30 plus years. Now they give me headaches. Just became a chardonnay girl in the last few months. Thought I would give this a try. It is very drinkable. Not too fruity. More of a buttery taste/feel. Very enjoyable for a very low cost!

Over the past 2 years, I have purchased more than one box of the Buttery Chardonnay that ends up tasting extremely bitter and dry, tasting far more like Pinot Grigio than Buttery Chardonnay. It is incredibly frustrating that this keeps happening, and I can no longer trust that I'll get a smooth chardonnay when purchasing this box.

Apparently it's a nice dinner pinot grigio. Since my dad doesn't drink wine the box kept it fresh and tasting as good as when she first opened it. I will definitely get this for her again.

Aroma and flavor is like crisp apple and bright citrus, yet buttery and smooth like the classic Chardonnay. Nighthawk Chardonnay is perfect to keep in the fridge. I like the packaging it came from and feel like it would look good at an event if you wanted to take it to a party. I think it has more of a buttery smell than a butterscotch smell to it. I had a second glass over ice and liked it betted that way. Overall, I think this is a great budget friendly choice, but not the best Chardonnay I've ever had. This is an incentivized review.
