About the Author

Mary Wilks is an accomplished oil painter who grew up in south Louisiana and studied art at LSU and The University of Houston. Author of A Bedtime Cat Story and illustrator of The Dump Truck Chicken, she currently resides in Kingwood, Texas with her husband, Barry.
