This controller is not good it was fine when I bought it, then it stop working after I threw it against the wall after loosing a match at Smash Bros, for $80 it sure can’t take a hit

It's ok
I bought this thinking I'd get the hang of the buttons since I play my regular Switch Lite/Oled on the regular; thinking it'd be easier to play for on my PC, but honestly, I preferred my X-box controller for PC. It's just a lot smoother, and even though I don't like the configurations, this pro controller feels very stiff and harder to manage for me. It also has a lag on PC, not sure if it's my actual laptop or the fact I'm using this new controller. Honestly, I would return it, but I love these types of gadgets & maybe it would work best with games that aren't so active? I really don't get it, maybe someone else has the answer. For me, I just feel for PC, my X-box controller was just fine after all and this pro controller Nintendo is really not necessary. Since I have the usb cable now, I'm going to try to configure my X-box button controls to what I want and see if it takes.

Biggest waste of money
This controller is terrible. I’ve only had it two months and I’ve had constant issues. It disconnects frequently in the middle of game play. It has major drift issues with both the L and R joy stick that cause both my character and the screen to constantly move and I have to fight against. I’ve tried everything to stop it and nothing work. It’s also just really uncomfortable to hold. Very disappointing

Major Upgrade!
I bought this specifically for Fortnite. I noticed with the joy-cons in the controller grip (pictured on bottom) that after a while that triggers weren’t working, my movement was lagging, and I could barely play the game anymore. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the joy cons, recalibrating them, making sure they were fully charged, but nothing worked. I started doing some research and saw mixed reviews on this product, but wanted a controller by Nintendo to hopefully avoid any connection/function issues that can happen with knock offs. Let me just say, I hit the jackpot with this one! Everything moves so freely and it honestly just feels great to use. There is absolutely no lag or drifting in the game anymore, and the triggers/buttons work exactly how they’re supposed to. As an added bonus, it had enough charge out of the box that I’m just now charging it for the first time, a week after getting it. Can’t recommend this controller enough! If you’re on the fence and are scared of the mixed reviews, take the gamble anyway. It’s worth it.

Great Controller!
This is an overall fantastic controller! Fits very comfortably in your hand. Enjoy using it on occasion over the joy cons, especially when playing with the big screen. While it is a little pricey (Nintendo for ya!) I highly recommend the investment if you enjoy playing all types of Switch games.
