Nintendo Super Mario Deluxe Bowser Battle Action Figure Playset

Terrible. It falls apart immediately and the music doesn’t even work.

This toy is overpriced, but my Mario obsessed child loves it. We have had no issues with the quality of the toy, but there isn’t much to interact with while playing. My son mainly uses this toy as a backdrop for his play scheme. I would definitely recommend checking out other toys before buying this one.

I’d just like to start with I never do reviews. I’ve also never felt the need to do one on a kids toy. I just can’t get past how disappointing /underwhelming this set is. For something with the word deluxe in its name, it’s flimsy and cheap. The parts hardly stay together, the “background” is paper. The front lava or fire part comes off easily and dosent stay on the base. The part that holds the paper back ground - two plastic rods do not stay in the set. The bridge that’s only supposed to drop when a buttons pressed just releases randomly sometimes. If you’re anything short of an adult collector who’s not going to play with it, it’s not worth getting. (Not that this is worth collecting.) Even with slightly older kids who know how to treat their toys nicely. If you have kids under 7 I wouldn’t even consider it! My last point , is compared to other small kids play sets there’s not much to it. It’s boring. My kids and several of their cousins reactions was confusion at what it does and above all disappointment. It’s also sort of lame it comes with only one character.

Absolute waste of money. None of the pieces stay in place. The sounds and fx only work intermittently, will be returning this.

My son picked this out in the store. If I had bought it online and saw the reviews, I never would have purchased it. This should cost under $20 for how poor of quality it is. As other reviews state, it falls apart constantly. The backdrop or lava feature don't stay on at all, so my son has been playing without those pieces. The only saving grace is he has other Mario Bros. characters that are keeping him entertained for the time being. However, this particular toy only has one figurine and one feature, so I plan to return it when he loses interest after today. It basically falls apart right out of the box.

They had such a blast setting it up together and playing with it. It was loud and bright. And easy to get going. But not so simple that they got bored with it. Its is great quality. And has provided a lot of fun. I definitely recommend!

I was disappointed when this came, for the price, it is pretty underwhelming and cheaply made. The parts don't stay on. It was a Christmas present but probably won't be sticking around our house very long.

Buyer beware, this is a hunk of junk!!!!! Def not worth the price. This would be like $1.99 on Temu

Great concept but unfortunately this toy is cheaply made and not well put together. The backdrop picture constantly keeps falling off while my 3 year old is playing with it, and it’s difficult/annoying to put back together. Would not recommend

That background piece is made of thick paper and it’s impossible to fit in the slot given so it falls off as soon as anyone plays with it. Also the “sounds” are just “rooar (bowser voice)” and a “woosh” kinda sound The lights are cool though and my kids still like it.

After buying it on sale for $19, i wouldn’t buy it for regular price. The stands to hold the bowser image doesn’t hold, the drop bridge doesn’t stay up, you have to push down somewhat hard & long to drop bowser. my son loves bowser so he likes it but me being the adult & knowing its pros and cons. get it on sale if you can or choose another toy!

Constantly comes apart. The keys fall on their own/don’t stay up. Great concept but poorly executed. No wonder it’s 50% off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We unboxed the Nintendo bowser play set to find an awesome scene inside a lava filled fortress. Where bowser awaits you at the opposite side of a bridge while carefully crossing and attack bowser by hitting the yellow button behind causing the axe to fall and cut the bridge causing it to collapse. Amazing! We think it is just so great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This playlet is pretty cool. The whole family has been Mario fans since childhood, that's been passed down to the younger generations now. We loved the idea of playing and taking Bowser down for a victory! The set is made well, very durable. It plays music and has sound effects which adds another awesome touch to this set. The only thing I wish it had included was another character. It includes Bowser of course, but to fight him you need to purchase the other figures separately. Overall my kids love it.

The want much else he could do with the scenario besides have Mario fall into the lava. It was exciting to open and set up but didn't leave much room for imaginative play.

My kids had a blast with it. They brought out all the nintendo characters and their imagination did the rest. I think this toy can be combine with others toys to recreate a game course or something like that. You can see the recommendations in the back of the box. Click the button to destroy the bridge before Bowser reach the end. It has lights and sound effect too.
