Softshell case. Decent quality for that kind of case but, not great for traveling in a bag with heavy keys and things. Opening up the case there is no velcro or elastic straps of any kind to secure the console. It just sits in there, likely potential for the switch to fall out while unzipping the case unless you always unzip the case on a flat surface. Sometimes I unzip on the go so the case is sideways. Just to me, not secure all around. Returned and ordered a hardshell with securing velcro strap.

You can find far better elsewhere… The bottom of the case doesn’t form fit to the Switch itself. The pocket is functional I suppose but you will only be able to fit a single usb cable or microfiber cloth. I’d check out third parties to see what’s out there before buying this one.

I tried buying a 3rd party case, biggest mistake! This is the real deal, it fits and protects like it should! The zipper is smooth as well, good for traveling or storage when not in dock mode.

I mean, it’s a case. Nothing special here, no room to really store any accessories, and the case doesn’t even conform to the shape of the switch. I guess I just expected more from a Nintendo branded item and for $40.

The case material is alright, though you can press the buttons through it which’s isn’t a good sign when pressure is put on top of it. It isn’t hard, which isn’t bad necessarily. The game card slots disappoint me. I was expecting for a price of $40 I’d have at least 10 or more slots, but it only comes with 6, and I know I can simply just buy a storage case later on, but I’m someone who likes to have all my games with me. The pouch is pretty standard, you can carry some things that are flat like the straps and cloth or what not, but that’s kind of it. And the major issue I have, which was the whole reason I got this was for the screen protector, it isn’t like your typical screen protector where it’s some hard plastic to put on top of your existing screen, but with the switch 2 screen protector, it’s like a sticker, just by imagining docking it or maybe by chance something hits the screen, THIS will not protect it, if anything it’s more for scratch protection than for screen protecting. Pretty disappointing especially when it’s an official one, you can definitely spend half the price on Amazon or wherever else and get a better value. If you don’t mind standard cases with flimsy protection, then go for it, but if you really want to protect a device that’s almost half a thousand dollars, I do not advise getting this. (Don’t mind the bubbles, I’m likely gonna remove this protector and get a refund for this, if I can.)

I never use screen protecters and I learned my lesson. I put my switch 2 in this case the first night after receiving it. I must’ve put it in the wrong way because when I started playing the next day I realized I had multiple scratches on the switch screen. How ironic? I went without a case for my first few days with the switch and then I finally get one and I end up with a scratched screen.

Great case for the simple things. I have a neo grip and wanted a slim case to hold the main neo grip shell so I could toss the handles in my backpack. This worked for that. Outer case is semi hard which was nice too. I plan to have my games in there and the switch 2. I keep my usb c power brick and cable separate since I use it for my phone. Someone else mentioned the thumb sticks being able to click through the case. I didn’t find that to be an issue. You’d have to intentionally push down where the thumb sticks are for that to happen. Even if it did, the system won’t turn on. You have to press the power button or home button to get it to wake.

The carrying case? It's fine. Screen protector is bad. They only provide one and the air bubbles were rampant. Overpriced. Had to throw away the screen protector, I'll be ordering a different one.

I really enjoyed the case it lets you travel with the Nintendo switch, and let’s you put your games in the pockets too, the reason I rated it a 4 is because of the screen protector it was hard to put it on, you do have to put it on perfectly so you don’t get any bubbles, but the screen protector does work, that’s the only reason I put a 4 star, but there all good.

The case is a soft case not hard. The screen protector is trash. It only holds 6 games and nothing else. For the value there is much better options out there. I do not recommend this product.
