All Nordic Naturals products are stamped with an expiration date, please go by the expiration date. Occasionally it gets printed over the dark blue wave on the label, making it harder to see. Although I am outside a lot, getting natural exposure to Vitamin D, and also take a supplement that has some D, my doctor wanted me to increase the milligrams due to my age, 76, and the benefits of sufficient D. However, one should not overdo a good thing...research what's appropriate for your age, outdoor activity level, and overall health.

Awesome product- my Dr told me to take a D3 supplement as my levels were too low.. I’ve been taking this supplement for the past month and have noticed a significant increase in my energy level, fewer aches in my joints and muscles and a more positive outlook. I had no idea that low D levels could cause such health issues.

I’m a mixed race (dark) pregnant woman, so I decided to go with Nordic naturals since I already love their Prenatal DHA. After one month of taking these, my midwives tested my VIT D levels and they came came on the higher end of normal, which is brilliant. I also live in Maine, so I haven’t seen the sun since August. Both my husband and I have noticed that our mood is a lot more optimistic than previous years, for around this time (winter). I plan to continue taking these even after pregnancy as I’m aware darker skinned people need them.

I like being able to get vitamin D at 5000 strength. But will most likely get 2000 next time. I respect the product Nordic Naturals. Have been giving my dog Pet cod liver oil for years at the recommendation of her dermatologist.
