This is the only Nordic Ware pan I have had trouble with. I love every other Nordic Ware pan I own, and there are many, but this one sticks pretty badly and it impossible to clean. After one washing, my husband declared it would go in the trash before he’d ever wash it, again. I only use bakers joy with all my pans so I’m not sure what the difference is. It still makes cute, nicely detailed cakelets (hence the three stars) but it’s not worth the struggle to get it clean.

Make red velvet and key lime bites in this pan. The cakes was the delicious. The pan was awesome.

This is the second worst Nordic Ware pan I own, and oddly the first one is also a Christmas pan. The pan itself is beautiful and the patterns very intricate and pretty. But good luck getting anything to release out of this pan cleanly. Cake goop, butter, oil and flour, it does not matter what you use, the design of this pan is poor. The grooves on the patterns are too thick and the well for the batter too deep. You have to perform surgery with toothpicks around the edges for each individual snowflake if you want it out of the pan and that does not guarantee it comes out cleanly because you will have to wedge it underneath the cake to get it out and that is going to tear somewhere. Do not buy this pan.

I’m thrilled with the pan I received! I love the quality and the detail. I can’t review it beyond that, though, as I bought it as a gift.
