Q: What volume of batter is needed to fill both houses?

A: I've used this for several years for my grandchildren to make gingerbread houses and will again this year. I use one box of pound cake mix for both pans with just a bit of batter left over so they don't overflow in baking. The pan cleans up very easily if you spray a baking spray inside before filling it. All the Nordic Ware pans are well made and last forever. I still have an egg shaped pan from 40 years ago (not non-stick) and have recently purchased the pans with fall and Christmas mini shapes and looking forward to making them. You can't go wrong with a Nordic Ware pan. Enjoy!

A: The previous answer provided is inaccurate! This duet pan's cup capacity is only 5 cups. Duet pans typically hold half the cup capacity of a full-size bundt pan.
