Q: What is the maximum temperature you can bake this in?
A: Hello, The Nordic Ware Natural Aluminum Commercial Loaf Pan 1.5 pound has a general maximum temperature recommendation of 500 degrees. The pan is safe to use and will perform at higher temps. For example, you are free to use the pans when broiling. At elevated temperatures, it's possible for oil to permanently adhere to the pans, resulting in discoloration or the development of a bronzed patina. Q: are these pans dishwasher safe?
A: Hello Use and Care recommendations for Naturals Aluminum bakeware :) **Before initial use and after subsequent uses, hand wash with warm soapy water. **Dishwasher use is not advised, as discoloration will occur due to the heat and cleaning agents used in automatic dishwasher detergent. This discoloration is merely cosmetic and will not affect baking properties or safety of the pan. **Towel dry pans after washing to prevent water stains. **Natural aluminum pans works well with parchment paper for roasting and baking, and traditional shortening/butter and flour methods when used for baking. **Nylon, wood, or silicone utensils are recommended. Metal utensils and scouring pads may scratch aluminum pans, but will not affect safety or performance.

Q: I just ordered 3 of these loaf pans and I'm wondering if I would use a 325 oven temperature for banana bread or if I need to use a lower temperature due to the way it would bake.
