Q: Can I wash the pizza pan with dishsoap or are there special instructions on how to clean it?

A: Hello, Skip the soap and soaking—just use a stiff, wire-rimmed brush to remove any residue. A little water is fine if needed. Make sure your stone is completely dry before putting it away, since moisture can lead to mold. Air-drying can take a few days. Want to speed things up? Place your stoneware in a cool oven, then set it to low heat (about 200°F / 95°C). Let it warm gently, then turn the oven off and allow the piece to cool completely inside. please save your money i bought two of these and used it ONCE, washed it and right before you know it mold started growing through the inside of the stone and it have a TERRIBLE smell and even minor stains wouldn’t come out!!!

Do NOT buy! My last baking stone (which I had for 15 years) sadly broke, so I had to buy a new one. Unfortunately, this stone gives off a terrible smell that lingers in your home for days! I tried it several times, and the smell only seemed to get worse! I ended up throwing it away. I would look elsewhere for a baking stone.

It worked well! I didn't have a smell issue like some reviews said. I was very happy with how it cooked my pizza, but I think my pizza assembly skills need improvement! I would be wary about the rack it comes with as the weld on it seems a bit weak. But overall, great for pizza night.

It does make my pizza crispy (we preheat it for 30+ minutes) but I cannot handle the smell. I’ve used it at least 5 times & it makes my house smell awful for days.
