Spots of white glue are showing

For a little over $40, counting tax and shipping, this wasn't a bad wreath. However, one berry branch broke off immediately after I opened the box, and a spot of thick white glue was underneath. (I can't get the glue off). After looking more closely at the wreath, I saw more patches of white glue. I've done my best to move the leaves and berries around so that they cover the glue, but I really shouldn't have to do that. (From a distance the wreath looks OK).
