This stand is perfect for my application. I'm putting a lit up real tree 8 or 9 feet on our deck outside our family room. I needed a fairly large stand for the weight and diameter. More importantly, to secure it from the wind, I needed a stand I could secure to a larger piece of plywood. Typical four legged stands are hard to secure. With the circular base made up of 38" iron, it is easy to secure using 38" conduit or copper tubing clamps. I also liked the fact that there were 5 tree trunk retaining screws which will be much more secure, being more resistant to the tree trunk sinking in to the screws and leaning. Looking forward to a beautiful tree outside the window, lights glowing through the snow!
