First, the fabric used for this throw is extremely soft and at first glance it's lovely. The problem is that the backing fabric slides all over the place when you are using this item. There's quite a bit of adjustment involved in straightening this out when you want to put it away or when folding it. Not sure how this could be fixed but I found it really annoying and concerned about washing and drying results.
