I usually add my own vegetables to a jar of marinara sauce for pasta. Especially carrot, to soften the acidity of the tomatoes in premade sauce. Now I don’t need to be doing all of that, I just combine this with marinara for a perfect convenient and nutritious meal. The beets and other vegetables do everything I was trying to accomplish in preparing my own vegetable mix, and more. It’s perfect and while it’s a tiny bit more expensive than other pasta sauces, it is 100% worth it.
