Loose Yarn
The mat has longs strands of loose, orange-colored stitching that are only connected to the rug randomly, creating large loops. Not only will these become snagged or torn when walked on, they're a tripping hazard. I am returning.

arrived damaged; too much hassle to return
The decorative threads were detached from the rug so I generated a return then after a few days I realized it was too much trouble to deal with dropping it off at a UPS or FedEx place so I will attempt to sew the decorative threads in place myself and keep the rug. I do NOT recommend this rug unless you are also willing to sew a bit in case yours also arrived damaged...

Gorgeous and Functional
I am really happy with this rug. I love the design and color. I wish I could get this same design in a large area rug. Anti-slip backing is great The colored thread part is raised, so you do feel the height variation underneath your feet. Currently using in front of my kitchen sink, and could easily see it in front of an entry door or in a bathroom.
