I was advised by the doctor to start using this. He recommended NOW products. It's hard to say if these products are working until you use them for a while. I will keep taking it just the same.

I’ve used different brands of NAC for several years and never have they developed black spots. Both bottles of NAC with in a few weeks went from all white to various sizes of black spots in them. Will no longer be buying NOW brand.

Recently, we removed one of the minerals from the most recent versions of the product to avoid this cosmetic issue.

I had one from other brand and runout. My acupuncturist told me Now is good brand and reasonable, affordable so I give it try. I could feel immediate change. I also tried wormwood tincture it also worked well.

Used to love this supplement but for some reason they took out the Molybdenum and the new formula doesn't seem to have the same effects as they did with my previous bottle.

These have such a bad smell but maybe all NAC products do? My sons neurologist suggested these supplements as an “off label” way to help with skin picking. They definitely help, and it’s an overall good value for how many you get. But they really have a stink to them, and have black speckles in the capsules, which I’ve read is just oxidization.

One of the mineral cofactors present in this product tends to show up as darker speckles, which is more obvious when moisture gets into the bottle, but does not impact quality or safety. We advise to keep the bottle tightly sealed between uses and not store in humid areas of the house (typically kitchen and bathroom).
