Potassium Iodide (KI) is a compound that contains iodine, a nutrient necessary for normal thyroid function. I Bought these to try out because of the situation at Fukushima Japan. Not only am I getting an extra dose of needed Iodine, but I get potassium along with the Iodine. The price is very reasonable.
