Nubian Heritage Body Lotion, Patchouli & Buriti , 13 fl oz (384 ml)

This is Mugler's Angel to the tee. It's honestly uncanny. I originally bought the lotion for nightly use but I'm thinking of applying it in the mornings because I associate Angel with a daytime workplace smell and had trouble falling asleep. It's extremely potent and long lasting. Could still smell it on myself after ten hours. If I could provide concrit, it'd be possibly making the scent less strong. If you're not an Angel fan, buyer beware. I know how divisive the scent is.

This is my favorite lotion but I’m a little surprised that patchouli is the last ingredient and I don’t even see buriti. Feels misleading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smells amazing first of all like a musk cotton candy maybe. I have severely sensitive skin that itches for hours after shower. What makes me itch? Using laundry soap except for method on my clothes blankets and towels. I suggest switching laundry detergent and also your soaps and lotions. This lotion does not make me itch neither does the bar soap. To find soaps for body and linens and lotions that do not make me itch to death is a godsend especially ones that smell amazing and the smell lasts!!! I am so happy this stuff stopped itching on my legs made them very shiny so far this lotion was richer and more emollient than the Vetiver but the Vetiver smells amazing also.

I love this body lotion and body wash … if only they would make it in a pump bottle ! I’d gladly pay extra for that convenience. I’ve gone so far as to buy pumps but to no avail since the opening is smaller than most pumps . I actually save one from my face soap that fits perfectly but it’s shorter so can only use it for half the bottle . I just love the product and get so many compliments but everyone always asks me if they make a pump especially for the body wash .

Does not smell like patchouli at all. This fragrance is something other than Patchouli.

I started using this lotion when my boss at work told me about it. I tend to get real dry skin in the winter due to the dry MN winter, and in the summer because I am always outside in the sun. Since using this lotion, not only is my skin no longer dry, I have received so many compliments on the appearance of my skin. I love the subtle scent of this lotion and how well it absorbs in your skin.

I have tried so many name brands ,that really cost, to reduce the effects of aging and they didn’t work like this one. If you’re goal is e we irk on deep wrinklies and lines -TRY IT! YOU’LL SEE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this lotion for my whole body and I love the scent but it seems like every other bottle is a hit or miss. I've purchased 5 bottles since January and only two of them actually had a scent to them. The others nothing. I mean nothing. I saw the oil advertised, and was thinking of purchasing to add to the lotion but it's not available for purchase. Slightly disappointed in the consistency of the product and the oil isn't even available for purchase.

While the lotion worked well on my skin, the scent kind of through me off. To me, it did not smell as good as the scrub and body bar. I really liked the texture. The scent was not flattering. Even my coworkers complained, lol. Probably just doesn't mix well with my chemistry.

I bought this because I have a Patchouli perfume from a different vendor, but I love Patchouli and when I put the lotion on, the scent was authentic and lingered the way a scented product should. I decided to look the product line and found the website. I saw that this lotion in particular received raves, but I was sorry to see some of the not so good reviews and one gave me pause. It referred to the reformulation and diminished quality of the scent. This is a ref flag for me. When companies do this it makes me which I had never started using it. I will try the oil but if it has a weak scent, or the 2nd bottle I plan to buy of the body lotion has decreased quality, I would not invest further in these products. Crossing my fingers.

I’ve been wearing this lotion for three years and I am so obsessed with the smell. Every time I put it on it just makes me so happy. The thickness is good, it feels good on my skin, but mostly I’m just obsessed with the smell! I hope they always make this so that I can wear it every day :-)
