A: They did refund our money after a few emails.Wanted us to return but then just refunded money. It's a great ice maker but myself and 2family members have bought the same kind and none lasted a year.

A: The product comes with a water pipe connected to an external water source and you can connect it. Then the water can automatically go into the ice maker while it is lack of water.

Save yourself the frustration—don’t buy this through Target. If you’re considering this or any Costway ice maker, purchase directly through Costway’s website, not Target. Target only offers a 90-day return window, while Costway provides a 1-year warranty when you order directly from them. That difference matters—big time. After just 5 months, our machine started making loud clicking noises, then both indicator lights began flashing non-stop. According to the manual, that means a refrigerant leak and the unit needs to be serviced. But despite being well within the 1-year warranty period, neither Target nor Costway would help—each just kept pointing me to the other. Hundreds of dollars down the drain for a product that failed in under half a year. Completely unacceptable. Learn from my experience and avoid the hassle.

Would hope that a machine that was originally $700 would work, but I guess they went down to so low is that they are total junk. After reading ALL the instructions and then googling what the problem is, the pump is apparently bad. Hours of my life gone not to mention the hassle of returning it and not one ice cube for my trouble; hopefully this review saves the next person from time wasted.

Got as a gift. I love it. I don’t run it everyday but when I do, I finish the water in it and bag the extra ice for later. I didn’t connect to water source I just add water. A little noisy when it starts but then quiets down. The ice is fabulous!

Purchased this item in August of 2022, the ice maker started to get extremely hot and make a terrific loud noise and won’t produce any ice and just goes into cleaning mode. After getting the run around with Target and Costway finally they tell me it’s past its warranty date which is only 90 days! For this machine to be $400 I’d expect more than just 1yr of work! Shame on me for not listening to the reviews 😂 and shame on Costway for producing poor products and intentionally setting low return/manufacturing standards!

Worked great for about 1.5 years and then like exactly a reviewer below, the top just blew off and water went everywhere. No warning at all. It was working fine moments before and then it wasn’t. Way too expensive to only last just over a year.

The package is very nice. I was surprised by how haven this machine is. I have to get my husband to open it for me. Looks very fancy on my kitchen countertop. Ice is in perfect size. This ice maker is exactly what I need in my home.

I chose to go with this one because the others were just so expensive and I wasn't wanting to spend that much money. The ice maker makes ice relatively quickly--takes about 1.5 hours to get the entire tub filled up! I also really like that the cleaning cycle is easy to use!
