Q: Is the wallpaper washable

A: This is a great question! It is washable; it can be cleaned gently with water and a mild dish detergent (Dawn etc). Please take care not to allow cleaning solvents (Windex, Lysol, Clorox etc) to spray on the surface or inks will remove over time.

I followed the installation instructions as written (and this is not the first time I have installed wallpaper). After installation, the wallpaper has had shrinkage in almost 1/4" in some sections (in addition to the 1/32"). Would not recommend this brand. The manufacturer also just refers you back to Target for resolution regarding their defective product. Save yourself a headache (and striped walls) and get a different brand.

We recommend a slight overlap and only peeling the backing off about 12 inches at a time to avoid overstretching the material while installing. Super easy to apply! Truly removable and able to be repositioned without damaging the walls. The texture is more like contact paper (plastic smooth texture) vs wallpaper but it does make it very easy to clean.
