Q: I've purchased a 3-way bulb and it doesn't seem to be working in this lamp. Is there anything I need to do in order to get this bulb to function properly?
A: This is the second time I've seen a target team member answer a question about lamps incorrectly. I purchased this lamp and was disappointed with how dim the lamp was. Love the look but it was dim. We had an energy audit done on our home and the person came through and replaced all of our CFL or incandescent bulbs. He said, "This is a 3-way lamp" and put in a 3 way bulb. SURE ENOUGH, this is a 3 way lamp. Now it is finally set on the full brightness and I'm thrilled with the brightness. I don't know where the person got the info about it not being a 3 way, because it sure is for me.

submitted bypuppy - 5 years agoA: Just assembled this floor lamp, took the three way bulb from my three way old lamp, placed said bulb into this lamp and yes, it works as a three way lamp. Weird that Target is so adamant it isn’t a three way? Lovely lamp.

Q: Is the energy efficient light bulb a three way bulb also? What make its the bulb?
A: Geez, it is a 3-way bulb! Just bought the lamp.

Q: Got everything assembled but the last thing is nit holding the shade into place, it's just sitting on top looking pretty so the shade is wobbly. What am I doing wrong?
