For me, this is the legendary scent of this perfume house. And despite the year of its creation, thousands of women are rediscovering it. I have both the bottle and the miniature. The sillage and longevity are superb. Cedar, spices, incense, amber, musk, but in the residual notes, I always detect cinnamon and cloves. A beautiful and refined scent. Appropriate for an evening with a beautiful dress... The bottle is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.

I've been wearing this
I've been wearing this scent, off and on, for the past 30 years. It has always been a favorite of mine because of its distinct scent. If you like the smell of roses or lavender then this may not be for you. But if you love vanilla with subtle hints of orange and the sweetness and earthy nature of basil, then you will love this. It is not an overpowering fragrance, but it is long-lasting. When you leave the room, people will know you were there.

Not the real thing
I received this a couple weeks ago and when I first put it on I couldn’t smell it. I had a little left of my old bottle so I sprayed that to compare it and I noticed that this was not the same scent. Either it’s watered down or substituted but it’s not the real Obsession. Now I know why it was so much cheaper than this perfume normally is.

I still love Obsession
I still love Obsession by Calvin Klein as it has spicy asian notes and lasts for hours on me. I've tried other Calvin Klein fragrances but this is my #1 Go to fragrance along with Obsession body lotion.
