It says fragrance free but I thought it has a soft pleasant scent, nothing like any insect repellent I have ever smelled. After working in the sun it did not have any residue or sticky feeling as most other sprays do.

I like that the smell smells more like rubbing alcohol than another chem.. this product also doesn't feel sticky on the skin like bug spray have used in the past.

However, sometimes it goes on and you don't feel any residue and other times it stays tacky on your skin. I followed the instructions and I applied it on clean skin every time, so I'm not sure why this happened. The formula is supposed to be fragrance free, but there is a slight odor to it that can only be described as "bug spray scent". Sadly, it didn't repel bugs as well as the bug repellent I normally use does.

I like that spreading the product by hand after spraying it on is suggested to get the most even coverage, but it is not necessary for effectiveness. That makes me a lot more likely to actually use it. It gave my skin an attractive clear-but-sparkly sheen when first applied and sank in quickly, leaving just a very subtle sheen. It felt completely weightless even when it first went on. The bug-repellent odor seemed all but gone within the first hour or two, and it's effective for 8 hours. Do read all the instructions and be careful, as with any chemical product. I applied it outdoors because it says not to use it in an enclosed space and my apartment is poorly ventilated, but the direction of the wind changed just as I finished spraying it down my forearm and although I was wearing glasses, I felt a bit get into the corner of my eye. So then I had to go inside and rinse my eye out, which the bottle gives good instructions on how to do. I did not have any discomfort or ill effects, and the bottle says it can cause only temporary symptoms if it gets in eyes, which was very reassuring.

It doesn't feel sticky like some other products I've used. I haven't been able to see how effective it is in repelling insects since it's still cold out, but if it works as good as easy as it is to apply it should be great.

Although there is no perfume and no chemical smell to it, there is a slight hint of an alcohol type scent. It is fairly light. I can't say yet if the product works as far as repelling mosquitoes but i will be trying it out when the weather is warmer because they love to come after me!

The scent is nice and a nice improvement over normal bug spray. Because it is a cleaner feeling, it feels more like liquid, and makes my skin feel wetter, but it does dry eventually. I like the locking cap, that is a nice feature.

The first, and something likely to make this attractive to many, is the smell. OFF clean feel doesn't have the overwhelming and sometimes nauseating chemical smell of traditional insect repellent. While it's no perfume, the lemony scent is a far cry better than others. It seems to do okay with repelling insects but it is early days so I must reserve judgment.

This spray has a nice light fragrance that isn't cloying and dries light and non-sticky. I tried the 2.5 oz container and think it's the right size for travel and to keep in a picnic basket.

Normally, I would just tough it out because I hate the way insect repellent feels on my skin. The clean feel version of Off! not only felt great on my skin, but it also lasted all day with just one application. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

The smell is also very pleasant it doesn't leave a lingering chemical scent that can irritate the nose and mouth. As the head of house I often by OFF! products 8-9 months of the year as mosquitos can be bad in central Texas so this is a great option to have in addition to the stronger OFF! repellent we use at the start of our day this clean feel insect repellent can easily be applied and reapplied based on the length of our outdoor activities. My youngest stated her skin did not feel irritated either which is a huge plus.

I like that about it, a lot of the times I'm wearing bug spray when I'm out walking at night. Other bug sprays can feel sticky, this one does not. It does have a slight smell to it when first sprayed but once it sinks into the skin you don't smell it at all. It's not a fragrance but it does smell somewhat like bug spray at first. Overall I like the product, would recommend.
